The salsas are good for a fast food place. Otherwise, not that great. I prefer authentic Mexican flavors to Tex Mex. Also, they had religious music playing every time we went. It’s a little bit weird. Have an appetizer, if you’re feeling really into Jesus with your dinner.

It’s probably not fair to review this Taco John’s based on one item but if the big wigs at the John’s corporate office are reading, if you’re trying to horn in on the Lenten market, a fish stick in a soft tortilla does not a fish taco make. That just makes for bad food. And a bad experience. Try again, Taco John’s, or stick with a cheese quesadilla. The other star is for having the same initials as me.

For fast food mexican, TJ is probably my favorite. I know about every location of places i go and usually stop there. Wish Owensboro, ky would get one again. I use to go to TJ o’boro all the time back in the 80’s. TJ henderson, madisonville, princeton ky. and on washington ave. in evansville, in are my usual stops!
