A pretty big park but for soccer and other sports. Not recommended for dogs. There is a smaller section behind the park where dogs are allowed and there is a fence circling the area, but a regular medium dog would easily squeeze through it into the street. Could be dangerous! The grass is not well kept(at that section), full of dry patches, mud and all kinds of trash. Lots of dog crap around, the people here don’t pick up after themselves nor their dogs! Sometimes I let my dog go off leash and throw a ball in a smaller area but I have to keep an eye on him in case he gets distracted by the endless trash. Ugh! Sometimes I see other owners too but they tend to keep to themselves. There are some doggy bags available, but no water available so you’ll have to bring your own water bottles for your dog.

It was so much fun I love running with the kids I’m over weight so it’s so much work but good for me.

This park is located on Stephanie and Russell, right in front of Central Christian Church(the gold dome! Lol) Another great Henderson park! However this park is mainly for baseball, softball and soccer, not really for pets or long runs/walks. I do occasionally walk my dogs here on the sidewalks and small open grass areas and see other owners as well, but they’re not allowed on the field! I did just find out that if you want to use the soccer field, the first two gates are locked but the farthest one from the street is unlocked! Probably just to stop anyone from taking their dogs inside. The soccer nets don’t have holes in them and the grass is always pretty green and full. I haven’t been inside any of the three baseball fields but they look really upkept as well! Great park!
