Came for Father’s Day breakfast. Food came probably five minutes after we placed it. My wife and I both ordered skillets. The only that thing I’m sure they cooked to order was the eggs. Everything else was barely warm. Not one to complain, we ate our meal, tipped the server 20% and walked out. Service was good, wasn’t the servers fault the kitchen/management are ok with serving below average breakfast. But for $ 50 for two people, it is a joke that they prep everything hours in advance. I get it, it’s Father’s Day, you want ticket times to be quick. But at least make sure your food comes out hot and fresh. This place is a joke and I will not be coming back. IHOP is even better than you guys

It’s a cool place to eat, but the high pitch hurts my ears. It’s something in the kitchen.

Why is it every time I go to one of these places there’s something amiss. I went to the one in the Linq a couple of years ago and the food was HORRIBLE! Hulls of lettuce and brown lettuce in the salad, fried chicken seemed like it was cooked earlier and thrown back in the fryer(I owned a restaurant, I know what it looks and tastes like). Now I’m at the location on Stephanie St in Henderson and here we go again. The coffee in the urn wasn’t hot and they have two bartenders working(wait for it) the whole bar, service bar, take out, AND three tables in the bar area. Way too much. Poor, poor management. It’s not even that busy and these poor girls are being run ragged. Stay tuned, my food just came. Too salty, my god! Huge portions, though. Food was not that hot, either. I got the bacon, avocado, scrambler. It’s 4 hours later and I haven’t stop burping my meal(sorry, gross. I know). I just can’t give this place another try. Won’t be ever coming back.

Amazing tastes but definitely not a normal menu selection. Food actually comes out looking fancy like the pictures. The mashed potatoes… died & went to heaven & then got so fat eating them I fell back to earth. I’m planning on going here for Thanksgiving this year because the menu looked super duper drooling over it fantastic.

Went here quite some time ago when they opened and just didn’t get a chance to review it. I heard a lot about this place and was looking forward to it. I was not a happy customer :((. I ordered hash with potatoes and it was served rustic style but it was all in big chunks not cut up in any way. I had difficulty putting a mouthful in my mouth because it was so chunky. I didn’t like how it was presented. I took a few bites and took it to go knowing I would not eat it as a leftover later. I cannot recall what my son ordered but I do recall he didn’t eat much. Will not be returning here :(.

Food is over sized and plenty for the hungriest appetite! The wait however is ridiculous! They should take reservations– the only time we will go again is off time(or when they take reservations). Forget about a Sunday morning… service was extremely slow after such a long wait. Our server must have been exhausted –they never came back — when we asked where they were someone else took our drink order.

I simply cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food quality and quantity is amazing, but what has impressed me most of all was the customer service. I have been treated so we’ll both times I have visited this restaurant. You can tell that management truly strives to make your visit a memorable one. Out meals have been delicious and trust me, they feed you more than you can eat. Thank you Hash house and especially Alliison for making our visits wonderful. We cannot wait to come back and try something new.

HHAGG is doing dinner. I’ve always come here for breakfast or lunch, but was pleased with my spicy chicken sandwich with fruit and a cold beer. The bartender was super cool, the GM came by and was very nice. It’s a bit of a drive, but if you’re in the vicinity you’re not going to find a better bang for your buck. Winning!

I like it for dinner as it is usually not that busy. The food tastes good and with the huge portions I always have enough to take home and eat the next day.

Always such a treat to come here! The service was nice, the food gigantic and delicious, and the experience was overall lovely. I got the Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles, but my parents got the Snickers pancake and Sages Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict. Even my baby brother’s meal was huge,(he just got the pancake combo with eggs and bacon). Everything was delicious!

I’ve been to the location at the Linq on the strip and service is better at that location. I asked for my booth seat to be wiped down, because it was wet from the dish tray that was clearly imprinted on the seat. The greeter just got a wet rag and smudged the seat down and walked away. So, I took the napkin from the table, wiped it down before I could sit down. Our waitress was okay, nothing special from the norm. If it’s your first time, I say get a burger. I tried the pork sandwich which was a crazy 10oz of meat that spilled over on the plate. Overall, this place offers dramatic displays, with decent food. This pork was not my favorite, but it wasn’t terrible either. Stick with the burgers. The fries are great, I get them well done and they do a good job on cooking them. By the way, they only serve that gigantic, free honey biscuit during evening hours.

This is the best little breakfast joint! Every time we come into town, we go here. They have the best breakfast food around. The portions are massive, so come with an appetite. We all ordered something different and everyone loved what they ordered. We also always order a snickers pancake for the table to share.(Try it!). It’s also got great decorations. It’s a very comfortable restaurant; all of the chairs and booths are comfortable.

Hash House is well known for their large portions. The food is simple country food with a slight modern twist. The times my boyfriend and I have come here, food and service were great. Staff is extremely friendly, very attentive, and helpful when you have trouble making a selection. Prepare to unbutton your pants because you won’t be able to breathe after this.

Brunch today. We tried a number of dishes: Corn beef hash — nicely flavored corn beef mixed with cheese, bell pepper and onion. It was served on a bed of skillet potatoes that were kind of bland and overcooked. Probably pass next time. We’ve had better Griddled French toast — one of our favorites, served with griddled bananas. Almost tastes like bananas foster with the Carmelized bananas with syrup and butter over the thick sliced toast. We had the combo with scrambled eggs and bacon. The bacon was real smoky and thick cut. Still amongst the top of their dishes. Beat Salad — this is a big salad with sliced red and gold beets over a bed of romaine. It had sliced globe tomatoes and dressed with balsamic, feta cheese and candied walnuts. Comes with a side of balsamic vinaigrette. If you like beet salads this was a winner

Never one to shy away from a coupon, I received a BOGO entrée coupon for the Henderson Hash House a Go Go location’s anniversary and we made a drive across town to take advantage. Breakfast is my favorite option at Hash House so I opted for the chicken, rosemary and asparagus hash. The food at this location is consistent to other locations I’ve been to in the past. Our server was attentive and friendly and we had a decent meal. Consistency is the key with chain restaurants and this location stays true to the rest of the locations.

The W. Sahara location many years ago was a fantastic experience and when my son mentioned«chicken & waffles» I knew just the place to take him to dinner on Wednesday 1⁄6th. Noticeably a former Tony Romas transformed into a Hash House A Go Go with the farm décor. The bar area was the only area open for dining @ 6:30pm. I’m not a fan of sitting in the bar area with my son(minor child), but«it is what it is.» The wood floors were slippery like an ice rink! The employees all agreed they sometimes find it challenging to carry large trays of food due to the floor condition. They said they use hot water and vinegar to mop, but there is a coating of wax that needs to be stripped ASAP, as this is a potential slip ‘n fall million dollar lawsuit awaiting to happen. You can even see your own shoe tread footprints when carefully sliding across this bar en route to the restroom…-1 star for lack of safety! While awaiting our chicken & waffles, we were served warm delicious honey covered biscuits. I like that they served a side of butter which was spreadable, and not the chilled butter that is frustrating to delicately add as if you are a surgeon avoiding a crumbled mess. Varied music selection of LOUD background music! Without a doubt this place is seeking the patron who grew up in the 1980s &90s, and I fit right in while enjoying the entire playlist.(e.g., David Bowie-R.I.P., Def Leppard, Beastie Boys, AC/DC, Prince, Salt N Peppa, Prince, Snoop Dogg, Ton Loc, etc). Chicken & Waffles… BIGPORTIONS! Really BIG! I can throw down some serious quantities of food and it would be a struggle to ask for dessert, so I skipped it. Two sage fried chicken breasts w/hardwood smoked bacon INSIDE the waffle, towering high, with a hot maple reduction and fried leeks. What are leeks? See a few photos below of different angles of this«New York Times Favorite.» The service was fast, and our drinks were refilled attentively by Amber’s watchful eye, not a request. However when the bill came, I became frustrated seeing their suggested tip calculations, which is why I am reducing another star from what could be a 5 star experience. «Suggested» tip at the bottom of the receipt, not cool. If a patron can afford to dine here(average $ 20+ per person), chances are they passed basic math class and can calculate their own tip. The suggestion of 18%, 20% &25% I thought was over the top. Standard gratuity is 15% in the USA, however this restaurant takes it for granted that the patron will over tip percentage beyond the norm. To put it out there, I usually tip 20% unless the service is a problem then I usually leave 15%, sometimes even less with a talk to the server of why I am tipping less. I don’t think anything more than 15% should be expected, and certainly not suggested in writing or otherwise. The 3rd aspect of this tipping frustration I felt was because the higher than norm suggested tip % was based on the total, not the sub-total. Gratuity is based on service provided to the dining patron. Since when was Uncle Sam in here serving my food and refilling my iced tea? In other words, there is no service involved on the 2 day old Henderson, NV sales tax rate of 8.150%! These three incorrect tipping issues resulted in me having to explain to our server who has only worked at Hash House A Go Go that I am not being cheap by giving you a deservedly earned 20% tip for great service. However, the way it is calculated by your employer may possibly misinterpret that I am paying you less, of which I am not. Unfortunately she chose to become defensive and told me all of the restaurants she goes to, do it this way. I then let her know that I have a verifiable track record of roughly 175 restaurants that i’ve dined at since just last March, and maybe only a handful at most, do it this incorrect way. Whatever! Bottom line is… fun restaurant with Tony Roma’s mixed farm décor, delicious chicken & waffles, appealing music, dangerous floors, tip issues. We will most likely return during the breakfast hour when it’s busy enough to sit in the main dining room. 2.5 Stars rounded up to 3 Stars! See 11 photos below… Unilocal100REVIEWCHALLENGE2016: #20

I have been going to Hash House, since we moved here and when it was at the M casino. The move to Stephanie was a good idea. Better parking and you don’t have to walk through a casino. This location is definitely the non-busy one. You don’t have to wait forever on a weekend morning. Now the food, I have tried many of their dishes and my favorite is their legendary chicken and waffles. The other items, it was a «nope not again» deal. Not a big fan of their sundried tomato and feta scramble or their smoked salmon dishes. The chicken and waffles are pretty bomb though. The meatloaf is good and anything with syrup is nice as well. I have brought many guests to HH and it’s always a win for out of towners. The servings are huge, so more than likely you will have take away.

It’s been a while since I had been to any Hash House but not much has changed with the exception of this visit having outstanding, efficient service. The food is still delicious and make sure your appetite didn’t go on vacation before you come here. In fact, do a two mile(or more) charity walk like we did before you dine. Our party of four arrived around 10:40 on a late Saturday morning to a restaurant at capacity and on a wait, we were seated before 10:45, and we were walking out the door at 11:25. We sat in a booth in the bar area and Yvette took great care of us. Although she was busy, she was quite pleasant, informative, and efficient. From our experience on this visit, we did not have any service issues that have been described about the restaurant in its opening months. I had the gigantic pumpkin flapjack which was light, fluffy, and the pumpkin flavor was tasty but not overpowering. This was a good start to many other pumpkin flavors I’ll be experiencing this fall. Also ordered were the barbecue chicken sandwich with fries, the Warsaw hash, and the basic. Everyone was hungry and finished within 15 minutes with every single plate being clean. We cashed out and left happy, full, and satisfied knowing that we didn’t spend the majority of our morning hungry and waiting. The restaurant still kind of reminded me of the Tony Roma’s that was there previously, but there is plenty of seating and if the service is capable, should be able to handle large volume of customers. Although pretty classic comfort/farm food, the extra«twists» and large portions makes this place unique and will have us coming back for more.
