G.E. Hendricks, O.D.

I was referred to Dr Hendricks by a friend who spoke highly of him. Called for an appointment and they were able to get me in soon and around my work schedule, which is difficult to do when working a 9 – 5. The staff was awesome and helpful! Verified my insurance on the spot and was able to let me know my benefits. No wait time for the appointment. The office was well kept and clean. Dr Hendricks was equally as great as the rest of the experience. He was patient and helped select which glasses I wanted when it came to that point of the appointment. I’m very pleased with my referral to Dr Hendricks!

Don’t let the old building distract you from the outstanding service you will receive. I called and they were able to get me in same day, Robert was fabulous getting me scheduled and providing great customer service. Dr Hendricks was super meticulous and informative, best optometrist I’ve been to. I recommend it to everyone. I even got a pair of Ray Bans prescription glasses for way less I would have anywhere else!

Oh boy.
I went here for the first time, because one of my friends suggested I go because they had fabulous vintage frames.
It is really far away from where I live, but I decided to give them a chance.
Everything seemed cool till the assistants were doing the eye tests on me. The girl could not get the machine to work for the life of her, she had to call the other girl to turn it on/​fix it what ever. It made me feel unsure. When she got it to work it still seemed like she did it wrong. : shrug:
The doctor was cool.
But when I went to look at these vintage frames, they were not so cute and not so classic looking. More like a junk drawer type in a thrift shop.
I decided to go somewhere else for my frames, but took my prescription from this office.
Ordered my glasses elsewhere, paid serious money for two very nice pairs, only to find out the prescription was kind of off… I was seeing the floor bubble under me. Not good. very dizzy.
I had to get the place to take back my glasses and re-​make them, and they gave me a NEW eye test… Slight difference was noticed.
I contacted the office of Hendricks and told them that because they gave me the wrong prescription that I had to not only have my glasses re-​made but my eyes re-​checked, and re– pay for it. After I had already paid Hendricks… Annoying and unfair.
No shits were given on their end. The person on the phone was like «oh…ok»
Thanks for not really caring you messed up.
I am not sure anything could have made it better, but maybe a «sorry.»
Get new office staff.
