I go here twice a week. Gringo friendly. The food is made from scratch to order. Get the homemade tacos. Best you’ll ever have.

The best place to get traditional salvadorian food. Very clean and fast. Lots of food ready already to make plates.

Went here for lunch, & was mostly families w/kids… this place is super popular, for good reason — delicious, very fresh, & very inexpensive, with very wide-ranging menu of El Salvadorian specialities… Flautas & papusas were on point, salad greens were very fresh, & very generous portions. Staff is also super friendly & patient, even though very little English is spoken here, & my Spanish is limited to less than 40 words(fortunately, most are food-related). This place is def good enough to be considered a destination, & if any of the food-adventure TV shows got wind of this place, they would be fighting each other to feature them. Yum!

Not Mexican food, Salvadoran! Best in the community! Fresh authentic real deal, like home cooking food! Business thrives here for the mere fact that it is the best around, and once again. not Mexican food. Salvadoran

This place is actually really good. It’s not fancy or anything but I come here for the food and food only. Honestly I don’t like to stay and eat because there are a lot of men that hang out here and I don’t feel too comfortable. But the pupusas are the bomb! mmm I want one now lol

Too bad Wendy U beat me to the first review for La Hacienda… let’s chat about it. Yes.Seating can only accommodate like 30 people, and this place is PACKED all day long so accept takeout or wait your turn to sit down. If I really wanna sit, I’ll go the extra mile and move the«dirty trays and plates» my damn self. I guess this is a good time to get this out there as well, everyone has to chill out and shut up about hair in food. ITHAPPENS. and half the time ITSPROBABLYYOUROWN. Out of all the material falling onto your plates… microspores, molds, fungi, mucus particles from the person who sneezes a few feet away, dust, mites, youre worried about harmless hair. It’s like going to an outdoor place and complaining about the fly in your drink. Relax, pull it out, keep eating. You wont get sick. And really, one piece of hair equals one star? Try out la hacienda if your into central american food. The always have several stews of chicken, gallina, seafood and beef, made to order pupusas which are the bomb, a wide array of rice, beans, veggies, tacos, you name it. Plus contrary to the prior reviewer, you can’t beat breakfast here. Just be prepared for the lines and the probability of not sitting in. And the occasional hair, which… guess what… happens everywhere else too!

I went there to have breakfast with my sister and the place barely has any seating, there were dirty plates on trays on whatever seat was open and to top it off, there was hair on the scrambled egg I ordered. I would most likely never ever go there again. I have also given them 1 star b/c I can’t leave it empty but it doesn’t deserve it.
