Let us just say this: If you live in Idyllwild as I do, there is no sheriff available for a minimum of 45 minutes if you are very lucky. We have no in town station. Then, when they finally do get here, my experience is an «attitude» of «well, what’s your problem anyway?» I always think of them as «Mayberry» as in the old television show with Don Knotts as the deputy. The station chief does not reply to written communications either so, on the whole, very unprofessional, sad to say. My experiences date as recently as this year. I would love to be more specific but I fear that service could even be worse if I were to be identified.
