Ramona Rehab has a wonderful team of healthcare workers who truly care for their patients. My Uncle was a patient for almost two months until he lost his fight with cancer. During his stay at Ramona I would visit him everyday. The staff was always friendly and welcoming. They explained all treatments and interventions thoroughly. Their activities department is fabulous really encouraging patients to live their life to its highest quality-very motivating. The rehab team really gave 100% and you can tell the employees really like their jobs. I overheard someone say that laughter is the best medicine and this team really knows how to give someone their hope back with appropriate comic relief, while giving their patients the tools and strategies needed to reach their goals. This facility demonstrated nothing but empathy, and love toward my Uncle and my family. They truly run like a well oiled machine. I highly recommend this facility.

In My Opinion — DON’T leave your Loved ones here without an Advocate! Yes, they are very nice and friendly! Yes, they have Social Service meetings to see how they can better assist your loved ones! Yes, you’ll get lip service. Great if they would follow through… But as soon as you leave the area, you’ll never know what will happen behind your back. I found my loved one getting foods that they were allergic to, loss of weight, not dressed appropriately, medication not given or ordered– after it was discussed(that, «yes they would order it») Many orders that were requested by me and the facility did not happened. It appears that almost everything that I requested for my parent–(almost all were ignored.) I could go on and on, but… Lastly, Where is our money going? that we pay for at this facility? The furniture in the patient’s lounge appears shabby and falling apart.(Again, this is only my opinion!)

Only one star because I can’t leave blank. My 88 yr old mother was sent there to get physical therapy after a hip replacement. She also has dementia and can get nasty. The manor was aware of this prior to her being admitted. My mom was supposed to get at least 3 weeks of therapy however after just two weeks the staff decided that they can’t handle her and ordered her out. Without boring you, bottom line is that this place is not only under staffed the are not many RNs. They are not compassionate and can’t handle dementia what so ever. Shame on all of you folks

I would have given this facility a minus 10 if it was available. My wife was placed here by a inefficient doctor from Menifee Valley Medical Center. The facility would not provide minimum care for my wife. Medications were not administered in a timely manner. Facility staff had a «don’t give a damn» attitude. Even when confronted with the concerns the staff could not follow through in a timely manner. Claimed they could not get a hold of their medical director to authorize needed treatments. My wife is suffering from pneumonia and lung cancer and requires nebulizer treatments 4 times a day plus rescue inhaler when needed. Was not provided with rescue inhaler as needed and no nebulizer treatments. I would advise anyone considering this facility to check their record of substantiated care complaints on

I’ve had experience with several nursing homes. Both my mother and my father have been in them at one time or another. Most are awful! I went onto to check the ratings because other websites were confusing and contradicting. Then I went to visit a few and selected Ramona Rehab. It was the best one I’ve had the experience to deal with! They took our wishes into consideration and did a wonderful job for my mom. I highly recommend them!

Nice place. Its a hotbed of activity. The patients seem to be well cared for. I went in on a Saturday and again on a Wednesday. Both days were the same – attentive people and the patients seemed content for the most part. I have seen a few meals being served and the food looks good, they have a variety of food the patients can have if they do not like whats on the menu. Something else I noticed is the place smells good! No old people smell, no antiseptic smell, just the smell of food and happiness It isnt the most modern looking place but it is clean and the grounds are very nice. The staff allows visitors to take the patients outside to enjoy the nice yard and trees. I would recommend this place if you have a person that needs care in the Hemet area.
