Don’t get me wrong I like this place it has great food, just whatever u do DON’T eat the biscuits and gravy if it were my first time there I would have not returned based on biscuits and gravy it had pieces of «bacon» that tasted like old nasty soggy swine. Being that it wasn’t my first time I know other food is great cool little atmosphere as well I will be back just never again do I want to even think of the biscuits and gravy.

I came here for the first time a few months back. Every single time I end up ordering the salad. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach! Piled high with lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and crunchy sprouts, you know this has a natural fresh taste. Salad can be shared as the portions are huge! Staff attentive with consumers and makes sure quality is top notch. I will come again!

My first visit here was February 21, 2016 with my wife — it was the best omelette breakfast we have ever had. Amazing serving size; enough for two modest eaters! Super value and great taste. We love this family owned and operated restaurant. we will be back whenever we want an amazing breakfast, lunch or dinner with a southwest /Mexican flair.

The best biscuits and gravy around. Don’t hold it against Greg that he’s a 49er fan. My family has been in the area for over 30 years, we started Mia’s Kitchen when it was just a hole in the wall and we all love to come eat at Oryz. God bless the Oryz family.

Just a note to Gwen of Riverside that says you ought to go to Mia’s instead of Oryz. The MIA eats at Oryz, so that scam ain’t gonna fly. We eat at Oryz as often as we can. 3 – 5 times a week, Never had a bad meal, and the service is the very best. It feels like family. No, it isn’t fancy smancy. If you want décor go to Mimi’s. Oh, wait, Mimi’s is out of business. Well, try Marie Callendar’s. What, they’re closed too. That leaves CoCo’s. You don’t say. Well Mickey«D» is still there for you critics. Otherwise, Oryz is the place for quality and quantity all wrapped up in one package. Gwen, stay in Riverside.

I visited the restaurant today for the first time. The space front isn’t very inviting. In fact, I have never noticed it before. But once you get inside the atmosphere is warm and bustling with activity. Every table was busy. I waited my turn and finally took a seat at the counter. I ordered an omelette with cheese, bacon and avocado. It was AMAZING!!! Half of the plate was omelette and half was home potatoes. It was perfect! It came with toast or biscuits and gravy. I got the toast. The price was just as good as the food. It was about $ 8 for the plate. I learned that it is a family owned restaurant. The customer service was great. Every employee who passed by me asked if I needed something. I will be back very soon. I have leftovers for tomorrow too!!!

Meat lovers was good and very big portion. Too big and very fattening. Ordered for to go and they almost got my order wrong because it was busy. We ordered salsa and they forgot. My husband had to go back for the salsa.

Great food. Shitty service. Never saw my waitress again after we got out food. No drink refills. Had to hunt down boxes and a check

Excellent home cooked food with large portions. The best biscuits and gravy in town! Great pricing. The place is always packed so I like to order to go. The waitresses don’t have the best customer service skills & the place is run down on the inside & parking is sparse especially on busy weekend but wasn’t for those things I would have given them 5 stars.

This place SUCKS! Horrible customer service and the place is dirty! They act they are doing YOU the favor by eating there! And to boot the food is not even that great. Cheap quality ingredients! With so many other options in Hemet you should steer clear of these people! Mia’s Kitchen is a better option. Polly’s is another. ANYOTHER place is a better option.

Ordered chicken fried steak w/eggs, biscuits n gravy & home fries. steak was good, nice and flavorful. Eggs were fine the gravy was very good but needed more on both the steak and biscuits. The home fries were the only disappointment of the meal, while they weren’t bad they lacked luster it was just potatoes. Would of been nice to have some chopped onions and bellpeppers in the home fries. Aside from that the wait was almost a tad on the rediculous side, was minutes short of an hour to receive our order. I’d definitely come back but it won’t be my first pick.

This is an amazing find! My boyfriend and I were passing through and found this place. Its your traditional family diner with friendly and attentive service and food that feels like it came from your moms kitchen. I ordered their eggs and bacon with a side of biscuits and gravy. The bacon was crispy and delicious and their gravy is out of this world! So good! If you’re passing through or live nearby they are worth a try!

This classic hometown diner is great! The cook is a master at his craft and has several specialties. I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. The price is right and the servings are generous to share for light eaters.

Downtown lil dive. In a good way. As someone esle said«Not fancy schmancy». Very true. Quaint is not even the right word to describe the inside but the food and staff are Excellent. This is real home cooked food from the good ol’ USA . The best sandwiches in downtown without the uptight«wanna be» feel. Real food, real people in a real place. Breakfast and lunch are always great and reasonably priced.

Old gross smelly waitresss with dirty clothes tables are half broken Food was over priced for the establishment. No reason to charge that amount if they can’t mopped their floors.
