WOW! This place is huge! I was blown away at how massive this place is. I have driven by the place many times. I wish that they were a little more affordable because I really loved some of the glassware I found. Unfortunately the prices are so expensive I am shocked that this place is still open. They must sell a phenomenal amount of stuff on eBay to keep the doors open because I can’t imagine more people

I have to agree they have very nice stuff, but They need to move it to beverly hills because the prices are way out of line, Had one encounter with a cashier who was rude inconsiderate and basicly not happy she had to get of her chair in order to check us out(RUDE)

on my way back from idyllwild, ca and decided to detour to frey’s. this converted bowling alley was recommended to me from someone in idyllwild. when i entered the building, 3 people(a man and two women) were sitting on a large couch, chattiing. they weren’t too excited to see us. no one said hello or welcome. geesh. we cruised around the expensive, way overpriced but gorgeous pieces(mostly furniture, various ages). finally, the man comes around and asked if he could be of help. nope. thank you. i found a small item to purchase. came up to the register/desk. the younger of the ladies was busy on the phone. no acknowledgement at all! then, the other lady came up. she didn’t seem too happy to be there. tried to make conversation, even get a laugh out of her… nope. didn’t thank me for a purchase– nor seemed interested in anything!!! won’t be back, FORSURE. This place is interesting, but the items are mostly LARGE furniture items. and way overpriced. One of the women working there said they don’t get much business lately. Hmmmm… I wonder why??? Maybe if they offered more collectibles that the average joe could afford… maybe if they had a little better customer service… and maybe if they weren’t located back so far away from the street, always looking like they’re not even OPEN… maybe THEN business might pick up! Have some advertised specials… maybe a sidewalk sale, like they do in the antiques district of Pomona. Don’t be so high-falootin!
