I came here last week because I was craving greek food. You walk into their grocery store and it smells amazing. The food is made fresh to order (I recommend calling in your order). The food was delicious and a very generous portion I actually shared it with someone else and was still full. Also a great price! I defiantly recommend coming her for some tasty food!

First time here. It was a long wait! Almost an hour for us to get lunch (3 people). While we were waiting I noticed quite a bit of flies in the store, near they cooking area. That was a big turn off. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular. The rice didn’t have much flavor, salad was very plain, hummus was good but should’ve came with pita bread or some type of crackers to eat it with, the «Koufta Kabab» was decent. I don’t think I’ll return here. It may be great to others, not for me. Customer service was good. The lady who cooked was very friendly and considerate. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Just didn’t hit my taste buds as much as I was hoping.

Went there on Friday and the place was dirty and a lady cook was busy with texting and ignored me completely. So I walked out. I don’t see why they get a five star score. Strange!

Great halal meats. These kind folks aim to please. Each yummy menu item I’ve ordered is prepared with care, I watched. So glad this quality shop came to Hemet.

Food is good, people are friendly, but more attention needs to be taken to keep the food area clean. When we arrived the other night, there was a bar towel on the floor and trash on the little glass table that is near the prepared food counter. The table was smeared with who-​knows– what, and the glass barrier that separates the customer from the food prep area was also smeared with non-​appetizing substances. Outside where the seating area is, there was a table with spray paint that looked like graffiti. I was a little concerned about eating there, because of the lack of attention to cleanliness. However, we took our chances and ate a variety of the food offered, and did not get sick.

Great food so authentic. The lady who makes everything super nice. We will be back to try more items. We had eggplant humus and some Tabuli (sp) it was very good. Also had chicken on rice soooo good. Thank you for coming to Hemet everyone, this is a must try.

My friend and I stopped by one evening to check this place out because we wanted some middle eastern food, there are not that many choices in Hemet. The menu wasn’t big but the food that I tasted was great! I had a gyro and my friend had the chicken kabob. It was delicious! But the best part of my experience was the customer service. The woman that made our food and served us was so incredibly nice, she made us feel so welcome in her store.

Great family bazaar, authentic Arab food cooked by a family members and thier groceries cover every middle Easterner wishes and international goods too, great frozen food and fresh vegetables and meat, definitely recommend and wonderful family are running the place and they’re very welcoming.

The food was Delicious. Very nice shop owners. Everything was made from scratch. The food came out fast for being made from scratch. It was hot. The menu is simple and easy for customers to choose from. I will definitely be back

In a town littered with chain restaurants and diners that cater to the older crowd, it was nice to finally find something different in Hemet — a Middle Eastern restaurant!
When you first go here, you’re going to be a bit confused like I was because this is a grocery store that has the restaurant area at the back of the store. I didn’t see a menu other than a flyer that I happened to see laying on the table.
I ordered the gyro thinking that it was the typical gyro sandwich with the Tzatziki sauce and all the fixings — but I was wrong. They prepare it differently here — this is a different kind of gyro sandwich.
They put some kind of orange colored sauce over the sandwich. All in all, I was not a fan of this sandwich partly because I was expecting something different than what I got. However the meat was quite flavorful.
Another plus is that everyone was friendly and the store was clean. I would come again but try something different.

Our Synagouge Team stopped By for lunch and it was a wonderful experience! Customer service is friendly and very helpful, shopping was great and the grill was fresh and delicious! I would stop and shop and grab some grub to go! And the prices are very reasonable!

A pure delight. The people and the food are fantastic! Authentic home made Mediterranean cuisine. The woman who makes this wonderful food was friendly and accommodating. I had the beef kabob and beef pie followed with baklava and Turkish coffee. The prices are super reasonable. We will be back here again and again.

This place is Ah-​Mazing! Fresh good food and Turkish coffee. Abundant amounts of hard to find imported goods, too! I had the gyro meat on salad. I didn’t want the pita and the lady said, no problem! It was coated with a light wonderful dressing on crispy fresh salad. Everything is homemade and delicious! Bravo!
We will be regular customers!

Let’s start with the service. The family are wonderful. The lady is very friendly and eager to please. She does a great job. The gentleman is as equally pleasing. It was dark and cold outside and he brought in the chairs/​tables from outside for our family to sit down while waiting for our order.
The food, oh the food. It was delicious. I went in and showed her a pic from Unilocal another person had posted of their meal and that is what she made. I love garlic paste and they put it on top, love it. The Kofta the hubby ord r ed was equally as good. The dressing on the small sale on the plate, had a kick to it and was good.
I cannot wait to go back and have more. I loved the yellow rice!
The store also has lots of variety of items and a great price.
Only down fall; we should have ordered more!!!

Was craving Mediterranean food, found El Basha on Unilocal.They had great reviews, so I thought we’d go for it — SO GLAD we did. Order food to go, a gyro and chicken shawarma plate. Both were cooked fresh and tasted awesome! Very authentic and mom n’ pop style, my favorite!
I would recommend that they spruce up their side salad a bit, it was pretty sad, but the main dish was excellent.

Up until now, if i wanted to eat quality Mediterranean /​Middle eastern food, or any ethnic food for that matter, required a trip out of town. Therefore, I would much rather cook my own meals than eat at these restaurants that are such a disappointment. Im sorry, Hemet restaurants are just low quality. However, this place has my 100% approval. Im a foodie by the way. For those that can appreciate quality food, should cone check this place out. You wont be disappointed.

New store with a great selection of fresh produce, deli and Middle Eastern products. The owners were really nice. I am going to come back to grab some take out. Will be great to pick up and not have to cook after work — especially on a Friday. Excited to hve this new store in my neighborhood. I always like to support family owned businesses over the big chains.

Amazing selection of meats, spices, halal goods. Finally a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern option in town. They have shawarma, falafel, kuftah, everything!
