Finally got around to trying Angie’s diner after hearing our neighbors recommend it for good food for cheap. We went in for breakfast. The décor is a nice 50’s diner, with nice booths. I had the spinach and cheese omelet with hash browns and pancakes. It was tasty, and the portions were huge(enough for 3 meals). I think this is going to be a new favorite for us.

Ate here for breakfast a few times this past month. The food is still very good with large quantities. The staff is always friendly. The only issue i have is that they eliminated the Senior menu. I am never offered a senior discount. The Senior menu offered smaller portions then the regular menu offerings. This is good for seniors. Please bring it back or offer a senior discount that is not needing to be asked for.

What a great, fun spot! We stopped in for lunch in between service calls and Eddy made great suggestions and brought us fantastic food. The décor of 50s dinner and the music is classic. You should try the amazing garlic fries too ;)

The last 3 dinners we’ve had here have been on the cold side. Don’t know if it’s a server issue, or the kitchen. When the food is hot, it’s better than fair. Have stopped coming, because of our most recent issues.

I just returned from my first time at Angie’s Diner. The place has a cute 50’s theme and everything looked clean. The menu selection is extensive and the portions are large. I got a quesadilla and it was huge. The service was really good. I would come back again.

We have been there many times breakfast, lunch, dinner always consisten. Friday they serve the best fish fry(But) you have to go after 3 if you go before you get a poor quility of breaded. Store bought fish. After 3 you get the deep fried cod best around…

First and LASTEXPERIENCE! we ordered an omelette with mushrooms food showed up with mushrooms after food was served and umm hello they belong inside! My husband ordered a Coke and glass showed up with lipstick on it! FUCKINDISGUSTING!!! Yeah we won’t be back. Not to mention the nasty carpet along the dinning area. I’d suggest you go up the drive a little more to Polly pies!

Went for breakfast… it was good. My order was the basic breakfast: two eggs, home fries, bacon and two pancakes… ate all except the pancakes as I was STUFFED! Service was good – had Stephanie as my server. There was a greeter who opened the door for me when I arrived. I will continue to patronize this business…

Went there for the second time, last night. The first time I had liver and onions, which was way too thin sliced, thus over grilled. Last night I wanted to try the meatloaf, which turned out to be an overcooked Salisbury steak. The service wasn’t all up to snuff either: I never saw the order taker again, had to alert someone else that my food was waiting under the heat lamp. Over all: maybe I’ll try their breakfast someday, but that’s probably it.

This place is awesome! 50’s Style Décor with great diner food! They have a pretty good selection of American food — from juicy hamburgers to steak and shrimp and pretty much whatever you order is right on the money! Try to get Aimee as she is a great server with a friendly & professional personality

This place has gone downhill within the past year. Food and service quality are inconsistent. Prices have gone up so my coworkers and I no longer frequent this location. When we need something, we have to practically raise our hands up and wait our turn while various servers do everything in their power to avoid eye contact. I used to be a server many moons ago so I know what it takes to be a good team player and provide excellent service. The food is very underwhelming and some of the cooks no longer care what they dish out on a plate. It is as if they are gambling at the chance that the customer is too busy to notice or will not have time to send it back. When orderinh AYCE fish n chips-the server forgets and will not come ask if we needed any added helpings. We have been opting for their sister location that has much better food and prices. Once in awhile, the slow and incompetent servers will end up on a shift there, which makes us cringe.

I used to really like Angies. Now, I am displeased with the service, food and caring. Furthermore, they dropped their Spot On frequent diner plan without grandfathering those who had built up points. Latest experience was lunch yesterday, incomplete welcome, bad tomato on the burger, little followup and not caring about my concerns when I brought them to their attention. Gone way downhill to me.

This place is cute and cheap but you get what you pay for. The food is descent but obviously not anything like 5 star quality white table cloth food, but we weren’t expecting that. The staff in general are really nice but our server was a little slow for service including greeting us. She was sweet though. When paying, the two girls in front continued a conversation with each other and didn’t make eye contact with me or acknowledge me until they told me how much my meal was. They did say thank you as we left though. Our experience wasn’t awful, but definitely not above and beyond. Good, average food, with average service.

retro themed 50’s diner… red and black vinyl seating… weekday lunch seating… plenty of empty tables around… few customers around… mostly senior in appearance… observing menu and finding a senior citizen menu which explains the popularity for seniors… standard diner menu with mexican included… food portions looking enormous… searching for a lighter meal and taking a salad… order of the chef’s chicken supreme salad and diet coke… thirsty and guzzling down the soda… refilled quite promptly… service good and friendly… but, delivered the wrong order… given the chef’s salad… quite a large salad and not wanting to complain… quietly eating the wrong order… garlic toast, chopped up ham, cheese and 1000 island… very basic ingredients without much quality… very basic food, but huge filling portions…$ 15 total after tax and tip for soda and a salad…

This place was my mothers choice, so I went with her suggestion assuming she had good luck here! What a HUGE letdown! It was a Sunday mid-afternoon and busy but far from packed! It took close to 5 minutes for our waitress to even come to the table so by that time we were ready to order. Food: I ordered the Angie’s Salad, very blah, lacked any really flavor…, and worst part it was iceberg lettuce! A $ 10 salad with iceberg lettuce? Really? Sigh! The sweet potato fries were good, but from a frozen bag I’m sure! Service: sub-par so say the least! I ordered a malt and had to wait until after our food came to get it! Also the side of fries that came half way through eating should have been taken off our check! I had to remind our waitress that I ordered them, and then she blamed it on the kitchen instead of just telling the truth that she forgot!(Would have been happier if she just said it was her fault, I forget stuff all the time, wouldn’t have been mad at her at all) Atmosphere: the place is pretty cute, much better than it used to look when it was Denny’s, but they were using nasty rags to clean the booths between people, so it smelled like a combo of bleach and mildew, so NOT appetizing! Final straw: my mom had a buy one get one half off coupon… the catch to this is you have to order two drinks! She ordered a diet coke and I ordered a chocolate malt(very clearly a drink to you and me and at $ 5 much more expensive than a regular soda) I was told by the«manager» that this was not a drink! Huh? That’s funny because it’s under the«drink» category on your menu! After having to argue with him, tell him how bad the service was, and how blah the food was, he said he would do me a favor and take the coupon! Ha! I should have mentioned that I was an elite Unilocaler and this whole experience was about to be put on blast! At that point in time I no longer cared for them to fix anything I just wanted out!

This place is a total sleeper. I am new to this area and hopefully will be a non San Jacinto resident soon, but looking for new places to eat can be a scary adventure sometimes. That is clearly not the case with this place. I ate there at random and loved every bit of my experience. I found out Thursday night is rib night. Rack of baby back ribs, potato any way you want it made, corn, and ice cream for dessert. Cost $ 10 you can’t beat that with a bat folks!!! Pics for you disbelievers
