We had take out from here the other night everything tasted very good, we would like to try it again by dining in.

I really love this place for some fried rice and crab Rangoon. Their pork egg rolls are pretty good too. I can’t say if it’s authentic because I’m not going to pretend I’m some Chinese food expert, but the fried rice always hits the spot when I get that craving. Plus it heats up well! The only reason I give four stars instead of five is the food is excessively greasy.

Excellent Kung Pao chicken and egg rolls! My husband and I ordered takeout here while staying in San Antonio. The dinner combinations offering your choice of entrée accompanied by fried rice and an egg roll are a good value. I ordered Szechuan chicken, and he chose Kung Pao chicken. We were impressed at the quality of ingredients. All white meat chicken and good vegetables. The Szechuan chicken was good, not as much flavor or vegetables as I would have liked. But the Kung Pao was outstanding. The dining room looked nice with a pleasant atmosphere as well.

Great restaurant. I had the lunch special sweet and sour chicken. It was plenty light and crispy chicken with a great sauce on the side. It came with either egg drop or hot and sour soup. I had the hot and sour which was a good flavor.

Ate lunch there with a friend today. Service is prompt and efficient. Enjoy the Hunan beef and would recommend it to anyone. Will definitely be back soon to try some of the other menu items

Here’s another great restaurant who consistently delivers quality food. The take out and the dine are equally good. They are usually very fast but you can tell that quality vegetables and meats are used. We normally do take out.

Great food, but well below average service. Server didn’t check on us at all until it was time to drop off the check and the wait for her to pick up and return the check was way too long considering the lack of guests in the restaurant.

Stopped by on a Sunday and they still had lunch specials. Hot & Sour soup was one of the better ones I’ve had. Ordered the Spicy Shredded Beef w/fried rice & egg roll. Shredded beef was really good so I’ll be back to try other entrees. The bad, the egg roll was typically greasy, fried rice was ok. Overall, it was definitely better than most others I’ve tried.

A friend in Helotes brought me the hot and sour soup and an order of spring rolls– props for the large portions and low prices! Soup was a bit greasy for my liking, but the overall flavor was good. I really enjoyed the spring rolls though, they were crisp and stuffed with filling. These clearly tasted fresh and hand-made, not the bland mush I’ve found at other places.

I am a fan. Love their spicy shredded beef and black bean chicken. Friendly staff and food is always hot and fresh. My bride and I are regulars and hope they stay a long long time!

Bad experience. After reading the good reviews our family tried this place. We ordered the chicken fried rice and orange chicken. Neither tasted well and the Orange chicken was very dry.

I like to order the curry chicken from here. The flavor is good. I just don’t really like the thin slices of chicken they make it with. I also like to have shrimp added to my fried rice. Unfortunately, you can’t pay extra for a few shrimp to be thrown in, you have to order shrimp fried rice separately. I end up spending $ 30 on my order because of what I mentioned above. Other than that, it’s a nice spot to go to, to get decent chinese food. I’d recommend this place.

I was a bit skeptical of this place, but they proved me wrong. I went here with my mom, brother, sister in law, and 2 year old niece. They were accommodating for us and were nice about our having a little one making a mess(ha). We ordered a ton of food and ended up making this dinner into lunch the next day as well. We had the hot and sour soup(one of the best I have had, really well seasoned, spicy, but not overly so), really tasty pot stickers, moo shu pork, spicy beef(that was spicy and tasty) and kung pao chicken. All was good. Service was excellent. I would recommend.

Gosh, this was too yucky for my seven year old to even eat! She and I took a little Mommy and Me night and I wish we had chosen somewhere different. The staff were nice, but the food wasn’t. We will never go back here.

I went to this place for dinner today. They egg drop soup was awesome. And the shrimp in Szechan Shrimp was so bad. I bet it took a lot of time to dig them out from the refrigerator. Egg drop deserve 4 stars minus two star of the shrimp = 2 stars

Worked up an appetite at the park & took a chance. Pleasantly surprised! Service was attentive, prices reasonable, portions good. Won ton soup actually had flavor! And wontons(plural)! Wish this place was on our side of town… We’d put it in our regular rotation.

This place is still delicious!!! But also the customer service could not be better! The guy Steven that works there pretty much makes Oolong. He is always friendly and welcoming. They are lucky to have someone so committed to customer service! I am always ordering take out from him! The chicken and veggies is my favorite! Kung pow chicken is a close second! But all their plates really are delicious!

This review is regarding take out. An incredibly friendly English speaking hostess answers the phone to take my order — I think it’s important to point that out because I knew my order would be correct & she’d be able to answer my questions about dishes w/o having a language barrier. She told me my order would be ready in 20 – 25 minutes and it was! When I walked in the hostess greeted me and asked if I was ‘Donna’… I like personalized greetings. I ordered: Shrimp lomein — huge order, enough for 4 people if using as a side. Large shrimp and veggies throughout. The noodles were cooked perfectly. I had to add some soy sauce to make it really yummy. No biggie. Egg foo young — major sad face :-(it was overcooked… To the point of me being able to taste the charred edges. It should be almost mushy(still keeping a round shape though) but I needed a knife to cut it! The take out version came with the gravy on the side; I’ve not seen that before and it was extremely dry. The gravy was runny as well; not seen that either. I wouldn’t order it again. There are 3 large patties, 1 for each person suffices. Hot and sour soup — yummy! I got the large size which lasted for 3 servings. It was very hot and sour, holding up to its name. Big thumbs up because we’ve been trying to find a local place that has a good quality hot and sour soup. Big pieces of tofu and other veggies. White rice — meh, it was so-so, a little dry. I sprinkled water on it and reheated it along with a wet paper towel to steam it, that definitely helped. Plus I’m strange & add duck sauce to my rice, so good :-) So I’d go back and try sit-down but I was pleased with the take out. It was fast, hot upon pick up, and my order was correct. I’d just not order the egg foo young again. The mustard in a ramekin(have to ask for it) is HOT. HOT. HOT. The packet stuff is mild.
