Great little quaint bakery in old town Helena. Wonderful selection of cookies, cakes, breads and coffees. FRESHBREADWASTODIEFOR! The baker pulled it right out of the oven and into my bag… oh heavens!

I don’t know if a better bakery exists. Anywhere. I mean that, and I’ve been to many, many bakeries. Try some of my favorite breakfast treats like like Elkhorn Twist or the Bacon-Parmesean-Green Onion Scones and make sure to check out all the artisan breads too. You can go crazy on cakes too, and they have some of the finest cakes money can buy; try the Early Grey if you can’t decide on another… a deliciously unique receipe. Great coffee is brewed daily too, so fill up your cup because it well pair with that yummy treat really well. I can’t find any faults with Park Ave Bakery. Prices are spot on, selection is good, the staff and service are outstanding, the recipes and techniques are unique and old world. This is a wonderful place.

I was craving some sweets and thought I’d try something different. The carrot coconut cookie was heaven! I’m also bringing back home to Denver the chocolate molasses, snickerdoodle, and lavender shortbread cookie.

Pretty yummy! Some items were overly sweet but still delicious. Enjoyed the chocolate wine cupcake. The Earl Grey cake was very nice although not my favorite; I lean more toward lemon/tart things. The lemon cake was very light/creamy. I also came in late in the day and didn’t get to try more things like I’d hoped, since they were out of a lot of stuff. But, friendly customer service and pretty tasty!

My fiancée and I love to go here. It’s a great place for a Saturday coffee and pastrie date. Their pastries are really good. My favorites are the Lemon Cake and the Earl Grey Cake. We also love to get their bread. I have yet to taste one that I did not like. I also love their pizza dough. It’s only $ 3 and it has a perfect consistency when cooked. I am sad that I lived here for two years without discovering this place.

I’m jealous. I live in Great Falls, 90 miles north of Helena, where we don’t have any bakeries that rise to this level, period. The location is intimate and convenient, right off Last Chance Gulch on the way to Reeder’s Alley(two prime Helena attractions). The service is friendly, the espresso is good, and there were even several varieties of gluten-free treats. They have a limited but savory lunch menu, too. These are big-city-bakery prices: my gluten free chocolate delight was $ 4.50 and easily 4 ½ stars. Shell out the dough for the good stuff at the Park Avenue Bakery, then walk off the calories on Last Chance Gulch.

Scrum-didaly-uptious! This is a get-what-u-pay-for place, great pastries, but not a stop-all-the-time shop. When I want a treat and feel like spoiling myself, this is where I come! Sweet tooth be warned, you’re about to be spoiled!!!
