I was not impressed with the flavor of the meat. I had the 3 meat plater. They do not add any dry rub to the meat or BBQ sauce giving the meat the smoky flavor that was okay. The brisket was over cooked, the pork was okay with the BBQ sauce they provide, and the ribs even thought it was falling of the bone I would have expected other flavors from spices then just smoke.

Recently stopped by for a quick pork sandwich. The pork was a nice smokey flavor, and not over-gristled(as I find many bbq pork places serve sliced pork that is too fatty). The sauce included tin of sauce was kinda meh; overly sweet and not spicy enough for my BBQ prefs, perhaps some sauce options would be better than just one sauce, as I know people are picky about it. The sandwich also came with two standby BBQ sides; I believe your choice of beans, potato salad, and slaw. The part that I really found poor about this dish was the bun; not enough of it and it quickly disintegrated into a soggy mess when even a little sauce was added. Perhaps serving on a hoagie roll or thicker, more substantial bun would be better. Overall its not the best BBQ I’ve had, but for $ 7 I think that this is a pretty great dish. I intend to try the ribs, and I’ll update the review then.

Ate there a year ago and decided then not to repeat the mistake. Unfortunately, I repeated the mistake. This time was worst than the first. Ribs were meaty but I doubt they ever saw a grill or smoker, there was no smoke rind or ring. Boiled would be my guess; and as boiled ribs they were okay. The brisket tasted like roast beef and if i wanted roast beef they would have been okay. As brisket they were cooked to hot and too fast… you know, like roast beef; and, consequently they were tough for brisket and passable as roast beef. The sauce was pretty bland, neither sweet nor spicy. If someone actually made that sauce they wasted a lot of time. The sides were not worth mentioning, so I won’t. Also, I won’t return. Second time damned… third time cursed…

This really more of a BBQ trailer, located in a dirt lot by the side of the road, and they do have some fair-weather seating under an «Arkansas garage» off to the side. It is owned and operated by some folks from South Florida, who drug their custom-built smoker all the way here and set up shop. The BBQ is good, tender and smokey, but a little drier than I’m used to(I’m more of a Memphis-style fan), although there is extra sauce on the side. The beans and slaw are the usual, nothing special, but the portions are huge, and shockingly cheap. I had the combo«platter» with pork, beef brisket, and fall-off-the-bone ribs, with beans and slaw, for 10 bucks, and it was enough for two people. Military, cops, and firefighters get a discount on top of this. Ultimately, it is cheap, tasty, satisfying, and messy, just like BBQ should be.
