What restaurant closes at 7pm on a Friday night in one of the busiest destination cities in wine country!!! Well apparently this place does. Let’s not forget that there are over 11,000 people who live here and don’t really care to eat at the expensive restaurants. Do you realize that a good many of us don’t even get home until 6:30p or 7pm and think about dinner? Seriously? You’re open at 8:30am. I am sure that you don’t get very many people at that hour, but yet you close when the weekend dinner hours are just getting started. And here’s the kicker for me… I live two minutes away! Will I go back? Probably not. You just lost a potentially good and repetitive customer. I guess you don’t care.

I grew up on Togo’s. Togo’s in Pleasanton was my first job! I was super happy that Healdsburg was getting a Togo’s. But have to say I drive to Windsor to get sandwich from that Togo’s. The Healdsburg store just hasn’t found their way yet. Today I decided to get sandwiches for my family at the Healdsburg store. I wish I drove to Windsor. All sandwiches were made on stale bread. Staff was rude. And got home to the sandwich made wrong. I still remember my Togo’s training and think the trainers need to come back up and check in on this store.

The employees here are friendly, efficient and take great care of me. I’ve been eating here 4 days a week for 4+ months now. They all know my order and most know my name. Great quality meats, cheeses and breads. Much better than the other sandwich guys! Shout out to expert sandwich makers Yesi, Jessi, Jake and crew! This place rocks!!!

I know none of the young people working here realize us old people having been eating at Togo’s since we were teenagers and the only one around was in Kmart shopping center in Santa Rosa, but this place does not represent Togo’s we know and love very well. Not impressed with the customer service. I realize times are a changing and customer service is going out the window but your here to make money right? The last two times I’ve been in they didn’t offer a combo meal or ask if I would like to add chips and a drink. It is almost like getting a drink is not the norm when ordering a sandwich. Both times I ordered it to eat there and they wrapped it up to go. Certainly I don’t mind unwrapping my sandwich but don’t ask if your not going to listen. Also, the bread taste a little stale and my sandwich was not made like a typical Togo’s sandwich. Meat, avocado, meat??? While the daily specials are a good lunch deal its not the same old Togo’s we grew up with. Maybe they just need a little more time to get established.
