My husband and I visited this winery after we saw the Unilocal deal. We were in Northern California(Healdsburg) for our mini-moon. It looked interesting and I was impressed that they were offering a deal. First impressions: The winery is among other warehouses and we drove by it twice before realizing that was it. Something about the sign is a little misleading. The tasting room is also the barrel room. Reminded me of a brewery, but in a good way(the picture on their website is what you see when you walk in). The staff was very helpful when we walked on and we immediately got to tasting! They had quite a few Zins, that is what they seem to specialize in. A couple we loved, others were ok. I will say that there was not a dud in the bunch. We are Pinot Noir fans and they had one opened and she was able to lets is try that. We walked away with a bottle of it as well as a Zin. BONUSPOINTS: We were just getting starting that day and Barbara asked where else we were headed. When we told her along Dry Creek she was nice enough to pull out a map for us and highlights a nice little loop and mention some areas we could stop and picnic at. So sweet! We didn’t join the wine club but we will definitely seek them out again! The Unilocal deal was nice and we probably would not have tried them without it, since its tucked away. Very glad we did and even without the deal we would have purchased the bottles we did. For the life of me I cannot remember the tasting fee or if there is one or if its waived with purchase. I hope another Unilocaler posts that. I also plan to update this with that info when we visit again!

The tasting room is located in an industrial park and was swarming with fruit flies. They have a number of Zinfandels, which I usually lean away from, and weren’t pouring any other varietals. Sadly, very little background about the wine or winery was given, they were more interested in moving boxes than to introduce us to their brand.

Got a free tasting on Unilocal, but didn’t care much for the 4 that were poured. Pourer was nice enough to pour an extra one — which we loved and bought a bottle of that. I noticed that there were bottles of Pinot stacked up and mentioned I would be interested in a pinot. but unfortunately, even we were the only ones in there, she didn’t pour us a taste of the pinot or any of their other bigger Zins… so although she was nice, we left without tasting(or buying!) anything else. Such a shame… would have loved to try some of their other wines…

We found Manzanita Creek on Unilocal and decided to give them a try since we have a bottle of it at home that we haven’t opened yet and wanted to give it a try. We had approximately 4 different tastings that were all good and Barbara was very helpful and knowledgable with all the wines. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

This place is awesome! Manzanita Creek, is really«A hidden Gem». My husband and I love wine. We live right here in Sonoma County… we never go wine tasting, but we had family up from out of town, and they wanted to go on Saturday. Wasn’t sure where to go. We usually get our wine from Costco… So I thought about my favorite Zin, I love Manzanita Creek Three Vines. So I looked them up and drove to Healsburg. We ended up in front of a warehouse… I wasn’t sure if it was the right place, but went in anyways. The smell of wine and oak barrels filled air, there were hundreds of barrels everywhere! And then we were greeting by Barbara. Found out these guys make six different Zins and Syrah, Chardonnay, Petite Sirah, Piont Noir, Muscat, Red Wine blends– All really good wines, All medal winners, and a 99 point Dry Creek Zin planted in 1905… OMG. We are in love! We joined there wine club, bought 3 cases for under $ 400, we got a 25% discount! Right in our back yard, worth going for sure! We did go to 3 other wineries, non of them came close to our experience at Manzanita Creek.

How have I not reviewed Manzanita Creek Winery before now?! This is one of my absolute favorite wineries INTHEWORLD! I’m a long-time wine club member so obviously my review reflects that. We stopped in here several years ago, quite confused, because I had read about another winery with a similar name in the area and I was looking for the fields of lavender. Obviously that’s not what you’ll get in this industrial warehouse near Healsburg square, but it’s not about the scenery here — it’s all about the wines, and how delicious they are. If you’re a fan of big, bold Zins, I cannot recommend this place enough. They also make a very decent Chardonnay and some Syrah and Petit Syrahs, but my heart belongs to the zin, especially the amazing Stealth.

I am much more familiar with beer than wine. I may not be able to describe the subtle complexities of a wine, but I know if it is good or not. Now of course there may be better. But In my experience the stuff here is pretty damn good and not that expensive($ 20 – 30 a bottle). The tasting included a wonderful selection and the staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. There is another big reason to visit this place. The property is beautiful. There is a picturesque lavender field, with walking paths. This is a great place to take pictures and even relax with a loved one for a while. I didn’t hit all the wineries when I visited Sanoma, but I know this was among my favorites.

Zin and Syrah, absolutely delicious. Didn’t get a chance to try their PS, must go back for that.
