This is my favorite winery in Sonoma County. Its quaint location is nestled along Dry Creek Valley and is absolutely gorgeous. The wines taste great and are so unique and festively labeled and their customer service is top notch! The people at Château D go above and beyond to make your tasting experience personable and relaxing. Their deck has a beautiful, quiet view of the valley and you’re welcome to bring picnic style snacks to enjoy. The atmosphere is laidback and is a perfect place to spend an afternoon with the girls. I recently attended their Chinese New Year event, complete with tastings, food, and real live monkeys, all complimentary to wine members and their guests; an absolute joy! Thank you Château Diana!

This was our last stop wine tasting. My friend who live in SR pointed it out on the way to another winery saying they had«wine slushies» — Wine Slushies!!!— YESPLEASE! On our way back we stopped in. They let us try all 3 flavors, sangria, fruit punch and watermelon. We got 1 watermelon and 1 fruit punch for 4 of us to split — looking back we should have layered those two flavors… It was a hot day and these babies really hit the spot. Then we all sat down and worked on their coloring books. I LOVEDTHISPLACE, and wanna hit it up on a another hot summer day. Oh and the bathroom was fantastic… I won’t spoil any surprises, but be sure and use the rest room here.

We were so excited to visit this winery… But the nicest thing was the bathroom. The wine slushie at the front door should have tipped us off. Their sale of wines from god knows where at$ 4 a bottle was so weird. I want wine from that specific wine maker when I travel to wine country. The people were really odd and the staff didn’t even seem to care that we were there. Go see the bathroom… its really nice.

This was a stop on our wine tour, and it was my least favorite stop because the wines did not compare to the wines at the other wineries that we went to. With that said, the tasting took place on a deck that had a nice view. It was really relaxing. A number of guests around us were ordering pizza and cheese plates, and that looked pretty good. We had eaten beforehand, so we did not try any food. The woman conducting the tasting was very friendly, so I can not really complain much about the experience. She told us that their most popular wine is the zombie wine. My fiancé bought a bottle.(I am not really sure why. He ended up drinking the bottle alone.) If you check into this place on Unilocal, you get a free tasting. I definitely took advantage of that deal. If you’re in close proximity, I would stop by, but if you can only visit a couple of wineries, I would pass on this one. It’s friendly and nice, but you probably will not go home with much wine.

We’ve been to this winery a couple of times. The grounds and the winery are beautiful and comfortable/cozy. The staff is always friendly. The wine is average compared to other wineries in the area. We’ve never bought any wines to take home. They often participate in the Wine Road events, and they always have good food at these events.

We were driving around and decided to stop in on a whim. Didn’t know anything about the winery. Sort of curious if they had Old World pretensions with New World money. I was wrong on the first guess. The grounds around the tasting room as well as the tasting room itself were decorated for Halloween. It looked and felt like a place for a younger crowd. Stuffy old wine snobs would run in terror. We stayed and tasted their cab, a petit syrah, a zin and think a pinot noir. Oddly enough, none of the labels had Château Diana displayed on the front. However, the labels that would grab your attention from a supermarket shelf if they sold retail. The $ 15 tasting fee is waived if you make a wine purchase and there just happens to be a stack of boxes with a $ 15 imported presecco near the door. OK, you sold me. If you like sweet drinks, try their frozen wine slushes.

We booked a wine tour that took us to 5 wineries. This winery was the third stop on the tour. I had not purchased any wine at the wineries. Until we came here. Beautiful fountain and patio setting. Haley served us some really delicious wines. Delicious enough I bought 2 cases and 4 bottles and had them shipped. Such wonderful service. I think between our group we bought 4 cases. Loved it. They have your regular good quality wines but they have a great selection of sweet wines. The Pinot Grigio was perfectly light and fruity. The Riesling was amazing! I even joined the wine cub. Make it a stop on your tour and ask for Haley.

I absolutely adore this winery! It is in a beautiful location and overlooks a vineyard, a sunflower garden, and the mountains all at once! There is nice patio seating so you can go out with your drink and just relax and look at the gorgeous view. I got their famous wine slushy, which did not disappoint. Very nice presentation and taste! The winery itself is super cute, with little gift-like items for sale inside and quaint decorations throughout. Although I didn’t get a chance to check them out, there are also lawn games out in the back next to the patio as well!

I visited Château Diana last week specifically to purchase their Pink Moscato(I’ve been there in the past a few times with a WONDERFUL tasting room staff member who has since left). Now, I know this is not a «high-quality» wine, and each bottle is only $ 10, but the bottles are cute, and the wine is decent enough for ten bucks. I promised a friend that I would bring two of their adorable bottles with me when I visit her later this week. Upon arriving I made it VERY clear that I would be purchasing two bottles of this wine, and that we’d like two tastings. The girl in the tasting room said«OK.» After said tastings were through, I asked for the two bottles, and my friend was contemplating purchasing another. The tasting room employee then proceeded to tell me that the Pink Moscato is ONLY sold in 6 packs! I have never had this issue in the past, and told her such, to which she responded with«It’s always been this way.» Which is false. I mentioned my frustration to my friend(as I was far too annoyed to say it to her without sounding overly rude), that I had made my expectations VERY clear from the start that I would be purchasing TWO bottles. She had every opportunity to let me know that I could not purchase only two, but proceeded to trick me into a tasting! Now I was forced to either buy more bottles than I wanted, or pay for a tasting that I was told would be free with my purchase! It gets worse… She then stated that she would be willing to extend a 4 for $ 40 deal with us rather than 6 for $ 60, and that we could choose two wines from their other, more expensive list for $ 20 more. After choosing two other wines, she tried to ring us up full price, and claimed she never offered those at a 2 for $ 20 deal! Completely frustrated at this point, we bought our 4 for $ 40 deal and a bottle of Pinot Grigio, only to get home to find she had given us Chardonnay and NOT Pinot Grigio! I will NEVER return to Château Diana! I will tell people I know not to ever go there. I have been hearing stories lately from friends about poor service in their tasting room, but now I’ve seen it for myself. If my friend in Texas hadn’t had her heart set on that dang Pink Moscato, I would’ve walked out without even paying for the tasting!

This cute little Sonoma winery is much-loved by our friends and they insisted we stop by while we were in the area. It is a very friendly tasting room(dog friendly too, so don’t be surprised to see pooches inside), making it a wonderful stop for novice wine tasters or first time wine country visitors. The wine isn’t my style(mostly very light and easy drinking reds) and are wines I’d call«entry level.» This DOESNOT mean they are bad wines, they are just beginner wines. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! This is a winery where your friend who swears she«doesn’t like wine» will probably find something she likes. Most of the wines have cool bottle labels and silly but fun names like Zombie Zin, She Razz and Candy Babee. I’m not much for the wine gimmick(call me a wine snob, but it is what it is). The most repulsive thing ever is their frozen wine slushes. I tried a sample and I had to pass. People seem to love ‘em, though, because there were lots of folks sipping their frozen wine on the adorable back patio(with stunning views of nearby vineyards and flowers). I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars but the wine lover /snob in me is taking over and demanding a 3 star rating. But if you are new to the whole wine tasting game, this is definitely a 4 star place.

Hands down best experience and wines! Everyone I tried I could see myself ordering a bottle or two, so we joined their club! I love the atmosphere and of course wine slushies! All the liaisons are welcoming, young, and personable. I love this wine and so proud to be part of the club! Yummy

As a club member, this was my 3rd visit to Château Diana. The first two experiences in 2014 were 4 to 5 stars however, the experience last weekend did not even deserve a single star rating. When entering the tasting room with my partner and 2 of our friends visiting from out of state, we were basically ignored until the tasting team realized I was a club member and(4) of us wanted to taste. The 25 – 30 yr old ‘drinkers’ were definately a priority while they enjoyed their ‘slushy’ drinks, guzzling glass after glass and running in/out of each door of the building. The tasting was a joke. Very little description about the wine and very few of our questions were answered. The tasting room team was not informed and certainly not capable of representing the fine wine of the amazing Dry Creek region of Sonoma County. Of all the many fabulous vineyards and tasting rooms in the area I would not recommend Château Diana.

We visited 5 wineries this past weekend: Preston, Bella, Martorana, Kokomo, and Château Diana — and Château Diana is definitely one of my new favorites. It’s a really cute space, kinda girly + girl power. The parking spaces say things like«Say Hi To A Stranger.» My family and I had a fun time sitting outside, where we could gaze at the vineyards across the street. We munched on free popcorn and played card games. Tasting fee is waived with purchase and the prosecco was an easy choice. We also got a bottle of the Marsanne because it was just so unique-tasting(complex fruit and nuttiness). The women who worked there are spunky and nice. They even let me taste things off of the wine-club-members-only list(even though you can only buy these bottles if you’re part of the wine club). They also sell food, but we didn’t try any today. We’ll def come back!

By far, the most fun tasting room I have ever been to. The tasting room is always very warm and festive, and the girls who work the tasting room feel like old friends. Oh, and the wines, are AWESOMMMMME! I love bringing family and friends here because there is something for everyone, from their delicious zin to their delightfully sweet wines, visitors are bound to find something amazing to tickle their taste buds. After going there a few times, I finally became a wine member. Their prices and shipments are competitive for the delicious wines they offer. If you are a social butterfly too, you will LOVE their wine events! If you are a wallflower, you will enjoy sitting on their balcony taking in the gorgeous views of the mountains and Dry Creek Valley. Cheers to the Château Diana Winery tasting room and their kick-ass staff!!!

This is going to be long. I went to Château Diana during this past Winter Wineland weekend. My parents had been before and while they said their wines are meh at best, they thought the experience was always something interesting(e.g. decorations, food offered, energetic staff). I went with my boyfriend and my parents and we were all not impressed. We decided to scratch it off our list for future events. I think it deserves a single star because I actually thought that the pink moscato and the riesling were very good, but they would only sell them by the case. I don’t need THAT much sweet wine, even if it was just $ 48 for 6 bottles. Also, I don’t normally go to wine tastings at wineries to try their riesling or moscato, but I had to try to find something redeeming after their other terrible wines. My group all initially passed the sweet wine table to try things like their dry whites and reds. We all did not like any of them at all — they tasted like the gross store-bought wines that you only use for cooking. My boyfriend spit the merlot out immediately and said it «tasted like a mixture of grape juice and antifreeze.» I ended up going to the sweet wines table to try to get the bad taste out of my mouth, since sweet wine should be safe. Luckily, they were good. Sure, the decorations were cute, I guess(they had a Frozen theme and won the decoration contest for Winter Wineland), but I hated how they encouraged boat loads of people into their winery. We almost left after we saw limo upon limo with groups of definitely more than 8(even though they asked to not have this on their listing for the event). I’m sure their worker in the snowman costume waving people in could have stopped them, but they didn’t. It ended up being crowded with people everywhere — I don’t want club-like crowds when I’m wine tasting. What ended up happening was a cluster f*** of sorority and fraternity types in large groups, drunk out of their minds, crowding up the place. I feel like if I was 21 – 23 and in a large group of friends and drunk, then yes, Château Diana would be fun. However, it is a winery in Healdsburg next to a bunch of better wineries that actually have class. It’s like a college pub atmosphere that happens to serve wine. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you just want to have a good time and don’t care that your wine(at a freaking winery in Sonoma County) is crappy.

Could have been the awesome label and pour spout, but I loved the Zombie Zin! Unfortunately I wasn’t the biggest fan of the rest of the wines. They weren’t horrible, just nothing that screams for me to come back. While doing our tasting, the people next to us were chatting with their wine tasting pourer about how dreadful and disgusting Santa Rosa is which kind of put me off(considering i live there and love it!). I tried not to let it get to me and suppose I could have said something, but instead we just left. Just a reminder to be careful of your conversations when others are around =)

I can’t believe there are only 16 reviews for this winery!!! Just winning the title of Best Tasting Room in Sonoma County in The Press Democrat(local paper) and right off Dry Creek Rd, we’ve been wanting to stop here for awhile. Thankfully they were(possibly still are) having a 40% off deal to celebrate their win. For $ 10 for a flight of five, this is a steal. They have more varietals than most other wineries, with each one better than the next. Their Chardonnay, Zombie Zin(with an amazing pourer), rosé, and Gewürztraminer are the ones I remember that really stand out, but overall I couldn’t have been more impressed with every wine. Their wine slushies are a really cool twist and addition to taste, especially when it’s hot. Their front patio, with tons of sunflowers, has an added ambiance with classic rock playing through the speakers. The busy road is a little loud, but you can taste inside or go to their back patio. The pourer was amaaaaazing. I wish I remembered her name. An amazing blonde. We were there about thirty minutes past closing and they were soo easy going about it. Most places have no problem kicking you out in the middle of a tasting. While I understand that, this gave it an extra feeling. Most of their events are free of charge to members. Many wineries will discount the event tickets but are not included in the membership. We came in as guests and left as members. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a pretty wine tasting site. In late July 2013 the garden is filled with sunflowers. The patio deck overlooks the dry creek valley, a stunning view. The wine staff all have a fun attitude. The Owners /Management seem to have a humor based philosophy. The quaffing wines have pop culture names & labels. There’s an assortment of varietals on the list. I scanned the wine list for Summer 2013. Check the photos. I tasted just about everything that they make & sell. The wines are not the ultimate and supreme. The flavors for the most part are distinct, clean and refreshing, the mouth feel, again for most but not all, is smooth & enjoyable. I actually liked the lower priced wines better than the higher priced. I am a pinot noir freak, and I actually did not like the pinot here very much. It was too tannic and had a bitter aftertaste for me. I bought a mixed case of chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, & zinfandel for $ 99. So the prices are pretty low compared to many other nearby wineries. For this day only there was a special on the lower priced wines = $ 121 for 2 cases! That’s $ 5 per bottle! If you don’t take your wine too seriously you will love this pretty, lively, kicky-attitude place. Recommended!
