3 Bobby D’s

Having read that Bobby D’s was awarded «Best Gourmet Food» in Hazleton, I was very anxious to try it.
Sadly, if this is the best gourmet food in Hazleton, Hazleton needs more than COPs to come to town.
They need the FOOD POLICE!

Terrific!!! First time here (on Saturday night before Easter) with friends who have been here several times — the best meal we’ve had in town!!! Between the four of us, we ordered 2 salmon dinners (great sauce — light enough with plenty of flavor), a ‘tour of Italy’ with lasagna, chicken parm and sausage (enough for two meals and, most importantly, all authentic and delicious) and a penne vodka that was done perfectly. Homemade salad dressings… great bread and garlic knots… and some great St. Joseph’s pastries for dessert. Gina (one of the breakfast sisters) was there and was wonderful with us, server Angela couldn’t have been better, and new chef Sal (from Brooklyn!) came out a few times to check in with us. This was the perfect dinner — molte grazie! We will be back!

I was here for the first time yesterday, 1÷28÷16 for lunch. I chose one of the $ 5.95 lunch specials. I had a short rib sandwich on a ciabatta roll w/​cheese and mushrooms. It also came with peppers and onions, but I didn’t chose to have them. There was also a side of fries. Let me say that I am a very picky eater. The meat was extremely tender, with a delicious flavor. The roll was just right, and you need a good roll/​bread to make a great sandwich. The fries were also good. The restaurant is very nice, looks very clean and nicely decorated. Italian music was playing, and being Italian, was a true delight. I would most definitely recommend Bobby D’s to anyone who wants good, real food. Our waitress, Antoinette was very nice and knowledgeable. She came back and checked with us twice to see that we were pleased. Bobby’s wife was our cashier, and was also very pleasant. I’ll be certain to return with my family. Great asset to our area.

First off, the service was first rate. Jack was the best! I had the chicken Parmesan, great portion and tasted perfect. Another person had the steak, raved the whole time that it was the best he has ever had. Atmosphere is friendly and comfy, great place to have a fun meal with friends. Would recommend this place to everyone, be prepared to eat because they serve you all you can eat!

Exceptional food and service! Their Italian is beyond compare! Every dish that we have had has been beyond excellent. Tanya makes your dinning experience special and a real treat! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

3 Bobby D’s and Sisters are both in the same location — one is breakfast the other is for dinner — a bit confusing, but not.
Ok for the review — the place has a wonderful remodel and they’ve maintained it very nicely — clean and organized. The selection is perfect — something for everyone and the price is reasonable. The flavor of everything was split — some was great — others were not so much!
They might have a bigger problem with parking if the place is packed, but we had no issues with that and they accept credit cards too!
The problem is with service. It wasn’t that busy and even though Jack was friendly enough — I had to ask for more water twice — thank God I didn’t order anything spicy and it took forever to get a desert order in. It was a shame the service spoiled my night out!

Best penne vodka dish I’ve ever had! The staff was very helpful in explaining a lot of the dishes that myself and the rest of my party had questions on. They kept our drinks full, and the service was great. Not just one person checked on us, but everyone that worked in the restaurant stopped by to make sure things were perfect! Everyone in my party of 8 people was more than satisfied with what they got, and we will be back for sure !!
