I am normally a big fan of Subway Restaurants. They are typically efficient, easy to get through and provide a reasonably healthy fast food option. This particular store was none of those things. When I walked in last month at lunch time, I was number four in line. One inexperienced worker was making sandwiches while another worker was on a cell phone. The«manager» seemed to be in the back on break. When the phone call was over worker number two came back on «the line» and started to help. After a few more minutes her cell phone rang again and she took the call while«working». I was now nearing the front of the line and I looked back to see no less than fifteen customers behind me. When I got to order my sandwich, the worker glopped a huge mound of mayo in the center of the bread and proceeded to pile on the meat without even spreading the mayo. I asked him to do so and he politely said«I knew I should have did that but I didn’t have a spreader». He then did his best to remedy the situation, but he was clearly on his first or second day. This staff needs to go back to Subway University for a refresher course.

I completely agree with the other reviewer regarding our experience in Subway. We stopped here to get sandwiches on the way to Sandy Hook. The attendant, a male, was incredibly rude. We ordered a whole avocado turkey sandwich. He sparsely filled our sandwich(there were only three pieces of turkey on the entire foot long!). There was no flavor. I understand that the avocados are the selling factor but the rest of the sandwich needs some taste! When we left, we asked for napkins since they are not kept out, and he would only give us one! He actually said no when I asked for more and there were two of us in the store. I would never go back there. It was an expensive, crappy sandwich made by a rude man. There is a Quick Check a bit further down the road that makes much better sandwiches, salads, snacks, etc.

Sub-par! We normally pickup sandwiches on the way to the Sandy Hook beach, as this is the only subway closest to the beach on the way for us. The attendant is not friendly at all. The lettuce is wilted. Tastes as bad as any other subway, but the unfriendly attendant makes it a very bad experience.
