Just OK. Donuts better than supermarket but not as good as many other local places. Staff friendly and service was fairly quick. Place seemed clean but employees handled donuts with bare hands — gross!

I love this place. It is definitely my semi guilty pleasure and that is only because they give you so much food in the breakfast combo! I was thinking yesterday that I only wanted coffee so I went out of my way to go to Starbucks. I paid $ 5.40 for a coffee with some fru fru in it. At Tonys for $ 5.44 you get a coffee, huge, warm, delicious, breakfast sandwich, and a donut of your choice! This Tonys has such a great location they are on the way to work for thousands of people in North County, but they are worth going out of your way for a great breakfast. I’ve only been inside a few times, but I do know the donut selection is huge, they also have a good variety of coffees and always friendly staff. Hungry yet? They have lunch too!

Worst iced vanilla latte I have EVER had and I have had 1000s! When she handed me the cup I first saw what appeared to be extra cream but after one horrific drink I realized it was all milk and a squirt or two of vanilla. The vanilla had not been stirred into the milk at all. So you got milk taste then vanilla grit! There seemed to be a 0 amount of espresso. My daughter got a glazed donut that tasted very stale. We’d been here before and gotten a good chocolate longjohn but I’m pretty certain we won’t return. Should NOT be listed under places to get coffee.

I was looking for a bakery and a place to relax for an hour or so between meetings. I pulled up to the place and was disappointed with the commercial look and working loading in what looked like a bunch of costco stuff into the shop. Went in and was impressed with the variety of donuts and menu options. Also very cheap! Go a breakfast burrito and blueberry donut and found a comfortable corner. The food was good enough and the coffee was fine. The girl that took my order was friendly and everything was fine. Then the owner guy showed up and the bickered with the staff for the rest the time I was there. They don’t have a back area so all interactions were done in front of the customers. It wasn’t yelling or anything but it was the loudest thing happening in the store and never ending. Not a place I could ever work nor a place I will return to.

What do St Louisan’s love … We love our mom and pop donut spots. Case in point, that is why it took almost 15 years for Dunkin Donuts to enter back in the St Louis area. You have to come with much more than a cheap franchise donut like Dunkin, Tims or Krispy. Your donuts have to have that blue collar, auto plant working class feel to it that’s native to St Louis donuts. I passed Tony’s so many times wanted to go in but kind of leery because it’s hard to just pick up new donut spot. So one Sunday, I decided to just go in and try it. Upon getting out of my car it smelled like… you guessed it «Donuts» and not the«Hot Donuts» now of corporate factory donut maker Krispy Kreme. It smelled like National Supermarkets Bakery and Knodels Bakery in Jennings back in the 1980’s like real DONUTS. Upon walking into the store I noticed they had drive thru which moved pretty fast. The place indeed had a nostalgia feel of how Knodels Bakery use to feel back in the 1980’s of welcoming and inviting. It was well lite on the inside something you couldn’t tell from the outside because most of the windows are covered. The guy taking my order was nice and asked me if I wanted to get 3 more donuts for a half dozen. While not as good a deal as you can get from Olé Towne Donuts in Florissant(you can get 12 donuts for the price of 6 with the online coupon they have on their site) I decided to get a half dozen(1 chocolate cake, 2 glazed, 3 plain cake) The plain cake were very good not great but very good. Chocolate cake was good. But when I took the 1st bite of the glazed I had to stop. it was like what«no say it aint so I have finally found glazed donut that is perfect… Thumbs up to Tony’s glazed donut. I felt 6 years old again with glazed donuts from National Supermarket(by the way they had the best glazed donuts I have ever had that’s National’s not Schnucks!!) Highly recommend what else the GLAZEDDONUTS!!!

Fresh and hearty donuts at a great price! The Old Fashioned was a bit more cake-like than I was expecting, but it was a very tasty item. The delicious Vanilla Iced Cake donut would’ve been sufficient by itself. I’m not sure I like how they just place your food on the paper-lined tray, instead of a doily or napkin or anything, but the tray and paper seemed perfectly clean, so I guess that’s ok. Gloves were used to touch food and not used when handling anything else. Coffee includes free refills, even in a to-go cup. The Colombian was mellow and fine, but the Italian Roast was divine, with a rich, slightly chocolaty under current. Very tasty and plenty hot(from self-serve hot pots), plus there are several syrups, sweeteners, and the like on the counter to choose from. $ 4.00 for 2 donuts and a small(refillable) coffee! Dining room is bright and cheerful; couch looked comfy. I’ll be back at some point to try it, and some more goodies, out.

Wow! I had several co-workers and family members say to try this place and they weren’t wrong. I had a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel and my husband had the same thing only on a croissant. Both were so good. Have also had their donuts and they were outstanding! Only draw back is the drive thru is super slow, go inside if you can.

A coworker brought in some doughnuts for everyone and I grabbed one of the caramel long johns. Wow SO fresh and delicious. When I got to the last bite I was a bit sad… didn’t want it to end :) will be making a visit there soon!

I have been to this bakery for 2 Sundays in a row now because at first, there really aren’t too many places I could get breakfast from while I am at work and when I came here the first time, I was so impressed that I had to come back. The first visit, I checked out their menu first and debated whether or not it’s worth driving to. It’s probably 2 minutes from work or so depending on how long you wait at the traffic lights but I was really hungry and their breakfast sandwiches sounded really good. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese sandwich on English muffins and a dozen +1(a free one from ordering a cup of cappuccino!) of random donuts for the coworkers. I wasn’t expecting much but one can only eat so much Denny’s food which is my other breakfast alternative while working on the weekends. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. They made it fresh, double wrapped so when I got back to work, it was still warm! The cappuccino was nothing special but if you have the craving, it will do the job of satisfying that craving. My coworkers loved the donuts. I was starring at a chocolate cake one but I resisted. Someone else ate it though and told me all about how delicious it was(as good as it can get for me, I suppose!) Aside from the breakfast sandwiches and donuts, Tony’s also have other offerings which all looked equally tasty on their glass shelves. They have different types of pastries to choose from as well as cannolis! They even have lunch sandwiches but I haven’t tried them out yet. Maybe one of these days, I will venture out during lunch and try one of them. For now, I think Tony’s might become a Saturday or Sunday morning tradition. Lastly, the staff were lovely and helpful!

This is was my first time eating tonys donuts and they are amazing. I also bought a grilled chicken sandwich on a cheddar cheese bagel and it was delightful. All there sandwiches are made when you order them.

I LOVE this place! The sandwiches are always delicious and the bakery goods… so fresh and yummy every time! The selection makes it hard to decide on which goodie to get! Their donuts are so fresh and good. Love the breakfast sandwiches. The staff is so nice and the restaurant is so clean all the time. I could eat there every day!

This place is so legit I love coming here it’s hard for me to drive past it and not stop by the donuts are amazing their food is equally as amazing do not pass this place up. It took me a while to stop by there because I thought it was just a doughnut place but come to find out they have so much more. Their donuts to me are Krispy Kreme level, so much so I don’t even go to Krispy Kreme anymore I just go here! Their gyros are the best do not go to Tony’s not get one amazing! I hope this place is around for really long time they definitely have my business as long as they’re open!

What kind of donuts??? In all fairness I haven’t eaten any of their food but not for lack of trying. The name ‘Tony’s Donuts’ led me to believe that donuts are their primary product, however when I pulled up to the drive thru and scanned the very large menu, all it said on the menu was ‘dozen donuts’ or ‘½ dozen donuts’. There was no mention of what kind of donuts they offered. When I asked the employee, she responded with ‘we have lots of different kinds’ and then couldn’t think of any other kind except ‘glazed and chocolate’. What the heck? I drove off and doubt I will ever go back. Call me silly but I honestly expected to see what donuts a Donut store would have on the menu.

To be fair, I never ordered any of the drinks(hot or cold) from this shop. I always get distracted by the array of donuts that always seems to beckon my name. After a friend gave me a sample of one of Tony’s donuts, I had to try it for myself. I ordered the French Crullers, the Original Glazed, and the Glazed Croissant. The original glazed was average. Yet, the Cruller and the Croissant(especially)were impeccable. Maybe it’s because I’ve never had a glazed croissant before, but I am definitely a fan and occasionally crave it. The knock I have is the price, comparatively to other donut shops. As a student, I can’t break the bank for donuts. So as good as Tony’s donuts may be, it can only be an occasional treat.

This is my friends regular coffee stop. I belive out of location(just off 270). The donut & coffee were good. The coffee is poured behind the counter & then I was able to dress it up with normal sugar & cream, but also they have out for FREE the bottles with pumps to give a shot of extra flavor(chocolate, rasperry, hazelnut etc). Seemed to have plenty of seating including a small couch & chairs area for a small donut shop.

For the price you get a lot more donut at Schnuck’s. They do have a nice selection of donuts, as well as some sandwiches and coffees but I was in a hurry and just needed a dozen to take into the office. Even though I was there at 8, the donuts didn’t taste very fresh. Worst part, I saw a worker slide a bunch of donuts off a tray with her bare hand. That ruined it for me. She had just come from the back and pushed open the door with that same hand. Not quite sure how the other reviewer can give them 4 stars when she found a hair in her donut. Maybe I’m just picky about hygiene?
