Yes, there are a few shady people hanging out, this isn’t the greatest of neighborhoods, but they’ve never bother me in any way. The guys who work here are super nice and friendly. They carry a little bit of everything and decently priced. It’s a liquor store not Costco XD

Karavan Liquors carries lots of hard liquor, snacks, porn, wines, wines, laundry supplies, and few beers, some priced, some not. no microbrews big bottles, 6 pks yes.

4 stars only because some of there items are over priced. Other than that this place is 5 stars all the way. This is one of three liquor stores I favor in Hayward. It just depends on which one is closest to me at the time. The men working here are very accommodating. This is a liquor store, not a Safeway… expect some shade outside.

Like any liquor store, there can be some shady characters hanging around here now and then. But the guys who run it are very nice and I definitely feel safe when I’m shopping inside (which you can’t say about all liquor stores!).
And I love love LOVE their wine selection. So many liquor stores don’t even bother with wine. But these guys really make an effort to carry a good variety of wines and at good prices. They’ve even offered to carry specific wines if we want them too. No one else has ever offered to do that before!
I will definitely continue to use this place as a quick stop on the way home to find a good bottle of wine.

I would not go here by myself at night, but…
I love how every time I go buy Hennessy here, they always have a cold one ready for me! That’s freaking awesome.
Besides that… it’s just like any other liquor store. Scary.
