for good haircut, hairstyling, make-​up (simple or heavy), hair colour,
facial, mani-​pedi this is the place. the salon is clean and welcoming
and tang and nina are the best. but take note: this is not a miracle place. if your hair or face is the kind that will need some miracle work then this is not the place! (is there such a place?!)
try them— good service for good, affordable price. call for appointment as they get so busy most of the time but you may try to
walk-​in too.

The ladies here are great! I was so glad I gave Family Cuts a try after a referral from a good friend of mine. I was greeted upon arrival and only waited about 10 minutes without an appointment on my first visit. They tend to get some rushes but Nina is very quick and is usually able to get to each customer in a timely manner. Their prices are unbeatable and I always walk out of there knowing I paid a great price for awesome service and terrific hair! Very satisfied customer I am knowing I can always come back to a budget friendly place that meet all of my needs.

I always go here for all my hair needs. Every cut turns out exactly as I expect and so do the dye jobs. Prices are super affordable too (broke college student)! I don’t know why anyone would give this place less than 4 stars. They probably just don’t understand that everybody’s hair is different and reacts to chemicals differently, so things may not go as they want. Then again, you can’t get everything you want in life, especially if you have a bad attitude. Anyways, to get back on point:
— Wait time is decent, hit or miss (can always call ahead for appointments)
— Clean work space & customer waiting space
— Hair cuts are great!
— Dye jobs are great!
— Prices are definitely great!
Oh and they do nails, waxing, up-​dos (for your special events) for a good price too!

The ladies here are very nice and welcoming here. I can always expect to come in and get a very nice haircut quick! I hate waiting long lines and where barbers take forever, and this place is the total opposite. I would recommend haircuts here and the prices are great!

Customer here for years, and always happy with Nina’s work. Both are very kind women and very welcoming. The store has convenient prices, and Nina will take care of you and knows how to take direction. If you’re a frequent customer, she’ll remember your haircut even if it’s been months. If you bring in a picture, Nina knows how to do it. And if your hair doesn’t natural have the ability to be a certain way, she’ll find a nice compromise!

Wish I could give zero stars! Came here for a perm. Asked for a loose spiral… So not what I got. Frizzy, Kinky, half straight, Damaged mess. My hair was so fried I ended up having to chop it off. My hair was to the middle of my back now it’s super short. I literally cried… and it cost me 100 bucks plushy the charges I incurred from another stylist (my fantastic colorist at inspire salon) to fix it!!! Do not let them touch your hair!!! Worst decision I have ever done for my hair.

Took my son and daughter here. Was our first time and we were greeted immediately and told we’d be helped soon. We did not have an appointment and there was a man ahead of us.
After about 10 minutes my daughter was taken to the chair. My daughter and I explained what she wanted and the lady understood and offered a suggestion of what might work a little bit better with her hair. We agreed. After completion my daughter was the happiest I think I have ever seen her! The hair cut was more than we could have hoped for! She looked amazing.
Very similar with my son who is only 7. She was very gentle with him as she could tell he was a wee bit nervous. His hair also looked amazing!
The cost was very fair and we will be coming here again!

I really hate to do this because I love these ladies… but the last time I was here my hair cut was horrible. I asked for some layers a bit higher to give my hair more volume, which I was given BUT the bottom was thinned out way too much so it looked borderline mullet! These sisters are very sweet and they care about their clients, unfortunately that’s not enough for me to return :(
The prices are very cheap. so I guess you get what you pay for.

Ehhh. That’s really what I say to people about this place. I heard a lot of people I know go here, so I was willing to try it out. The women working were friendly enough and have decent prices, but the hair cut I receive was just «ehh.» Like it was good enough that I didn’t cry or immediately find another place to get another haircut, but I don’t think I would ever go back for another.
However good for dude hair. There were no weird bumps and pretty fast.

4.5 Stars !! The people here are friendly and kind. Generally the wait isnt that long but you can always call ahead and make an appointment. Sometimes I go in early and play their Wii and listen to Pantera and My Morning Jacket — No Im kidding about that. But thats a good idea huh? Ask them to purchase a Wii so the people waiting can compete and place bets and drink massive amounts of Absinthe! Then, wait til a fight breaks out. Free nachos would be decent too.
–The prices are good, so give them your business.
