Body Basics

If you want to deal with some uneducated ghetto girls then go shop in this body basic. I love body basics i go to every store of them wherever i see them. Body will never ever go to this one again. So today 6÷18÷16 at like 3:30ish (the detail is for managers if they care to see) i went to shop and found some stuff. First of all they had a table of 1.99 i chose something from there but the cashier said it is coming up as 3.99 i told her i saw at table for the price am telling you but she said with an attitude that no thats old sign we forgot to change it. I said then that is false advertisement hun. I was being as polite as i could since i am also a retail supervisor. So she said you don’t have to buy it. wait what? Lol. So i tell her to take that out and i will buy rest of the stuff. I gave her $ 20. My total was $ 9 some. So she gives me back all in 1s. I see a lot of $ 5 and $ 10s in her cash draw. She said i do not want to. I started laughing i was like are you kidding me? You just dont want me to buy this huh? She takes the bag back and says «yeah you can go crazy» then i pushed the bag away also. When am walking away she curses me out and the other girl also was supporting her the whole time. She was like tall and the other one was short. It was a crazy and first experience like that. on my way out there was a girl dressed appropriate and i told her everything. Her name was kendal. She was sorry about the whole situation. She was nice But she didn’t give me names of those girls. She said she cant. I am very disappointed.

I have a love hate relationship with this store. Sometimes the deals are great $ 25 or less but the clothes are very thin or leftovers from department stores that they are trying to resell. (If your shopping January 2016 there is a store called salt tree 2 stores down which sells the same clothes for a higher price). Now I come here for underwear, socks and tank tops to stock up on things that I wear out easily or lose fast (SOCKS). I never buy pants anymore because the material is usually thin and uncomfortable. It’s great the jeans are $ 10 but no telling how long they will actually last for normal everyday wear.
My family has been shopping here the past year and combined we spend $ 100 – 200 a month here and there is no discount or rewards program which is the annoying part. For clothes so cheap when the same customers come in to little chain stores it’s nice to be able to get something when your expecting to be walking into a discount store. Also comparing to body basics in Los Angeles and San Jose this store is priced higher than the other body basics. I don’t know if this one is bought over by the Indian family and the others were company owned but I will be going San Jose from now on since they at least have nice workers a large store and care to help you.

So I was walking through the mall one day and look into their store. They had tshirt a for sale so I picked Agee for my daughter. I knew if they didn’t fit her I could exchange them only as they do not give refunds and that’s ok. What is not ok is that they doubled charged me. Turns out that the shirts didn’t fit my daughter but I knew I could exchange them when I brought back the receipt to show them that they double charged me. Well, due to their «policy» they would not refund me. NOT COOL!!! Even though it was their mistake they would not credit my card back and made me take home more merchandise. Isn’t that illegal?! Seems funny to me that you can over charge people and not give them their money back. My daughter and I searched the store but the clothing is poor quality and my daughter could find nothing she liked. We were in that lousy store for about 45 min. They ended up making another mistake during the exchange transaction but at least this time I ended getting a few extra «free crappy tshirts». I will never shop there again! P. S. turn the volume down on your lousy music!
