I didn’t find much in terms of clothing here but they have a lot of housewares and you can’t beat the prices. I’m so use to CA thrift stores where a pair of shoes is close to $ 10. Here the shoes were $ 1.00 unless marked. Many items were a mere $ 0.25 — $ 0.50. I grabbed some vintage floral pillowcases, a crocheted owl wall hanging, a sunset scene latch hook rug wall hanging, pair of Dr. Scholl’s woven flats, a vintage dress and vintage green plastic salt and pepper shakers in a caddy all for $ 5.94. Cash and checks only. Very clean and organized and they have a restroom and fitting room. Lady working front counter was nice. So many of these little thrift shops in small towns are listed on Unilocal or Google maps and when you arrive, they are out of business. Not so with this shop. I overheard the woman saying they’ve been there since the 1960s. Go go go if you like the thrill of the hunt and you’re on the 70 in Kansas :)
