Sadly Deja Brew in Haymarket is no more. They may possibly re-open in the Warrenton area.

I love how friendly this coffee shop is. I have a toddler and love going to Deja Brew because they have toys for him to play with and don’t mind the extra energy. I’m a plain coffee type of person, but I did eat lunch there once and the food was really delicious. Also, the twice a week children’s events were really enjoyable.

They try but they miss the mark. The first time I went to this place I was soooooo excited to find a sit down coffee shop other than Starbucks, unfortunately I was disappointed, but not totally. I was disappointed because whatever it was that I wanted to order they were out of. I think it may have been an avocado something. Needless to say I was bummed, I was understanding but it still took away from the overall experience. They did make up for it with their BLT, beer, & house made cookies though. Their chai latte with almond milk was really yummy too. I tried this place for a second time & I was frustrated with my chai latte. I really wanted the latte I had the first time I went but it just wasn’t the same. It made me question their consistency. Nevertheless, I won’t stop going. I love the fact that I can sit down and read any of the books sitting in the corner of the shop by the window. And that I can bring books I’ve already read from home to share with others.

Nice to find a non chain coffee house which has good food to eat. Worth the visit and their Flat White is good as well.

A quality place. It’s a relief to find good coffee and espresso in the Starbucks desert between Haymarket and Leesburg. Mad decent mochas, «Phraps», and drip coffee, but their iced coffee is just a bit too strong for my liking. Keep it up!

Deja Brew coffee is an independently owned coffee shop in Haymarket. I would have never gone here, had it not been conveniently across the street from our wedding reception venue. The atmosphere is relaxed and unassuming. The space is surprisingly big for a coffee shop. There are plenty of space to sit and get lost in your books or computers. Their menu is written on chalkboard walls with brightly colored chalk. The staff who work at Deja Brew were friendly and were patient as we decided what we wanted. I ended up ordering a vanilla chai and my fiancé ordered a Cubano. Our drinks were well made and took a few minutes to be made. They didn’t rush and you ended up with a quality drink. It’s worth the wait. I anticipate coming to Haymarket a few more times before our wedding(and even after) and plan on coming back to Deja Brew again soon.

Breakfast burrito is delicious! Comes with salsa on side too. Iced lattes are not made fresh though. Have espresso pre made. I like it fresh. Oatmeal good as well. Organic milks for kids too! Wish they had organic half and half.

I have mixed feelings about this place — I have been a number of times as they are very close to my house. It’s a cozy place to hang out and relax. The service is always very very friendly. I just don’t love their drinks, I have tried lots of them but there is just something about them I don’t like. But maybe that’s just me. Last time I was there was a Saturday night and they had a open mic going on which I think is really fun and would be a fun way to spend an evening. But the«stage» is set up right next to the cash register so the employee could hardly hear me as I gave my order and I could hardly hear her. Luckily my order came out correct and I like the idea of having an open mic, the place was pretty packed, but if only their shop was a bit bigger so the blaring music wasn’t drowning out the cashier. I have heard their food is good which I have yet to try.

Awesome coffee brewhouse, to my opinion it’s hard to find this kind of place around NoVa. Ambiance is nice, I ordered caramel macchiato and it tasted great. They also have acoustic music every now and then. Food was OK though. Definitely will come back for the music.

My husband I came here last night to have coffee and a dessert. The cookie was very good and he loved the coffee. It’s a cute little spot. We will definitely be back.

Great place to go for a quick lunch to eat in or take out, or to watch live bands play on Friday or Saturday night with happy hour specials on wine and beer week nights between 6pm-8pm.

Great coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and good prices. Great way to start the day. Lots of activities for local teens as well with open mic nights, music, etc. My favorite local business!

The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed and inviting. Flyers for local events and local art on the walls gives a more artistic and lounge aspect. I had a chaider(chai and cider) and a cranberry muffin on my first visit. The drink was at perfect temperature but a tad sweet. The muffin was fantastic. I hear there are musical acts here and I would definitely come back for that.

Tucked in the corner of an unassuming strip mall, Deja Brew is a great place to stop in for a snack, get some work done or take some caffeine/sugar to go. In addition to a regular coffeehouse menu, they serve beer, wine and sandwiches, as well as «phraps» and smoothies. The Wi-Fi connection is strong and there are plenty of plugs and tables. There’s a book exchange if you forget to bring something to read, and a piano if you get tired of the smooth jazz playing from the sound system above.

Great Starbucks alternative in Haymarket! Great coffee with nice homey, somewhat eclectic environment. Did I say the coffee was great???

I was really looking forward to spending a rainy afternoon here. When I walked in it took over 10 minutes for a cashier to come take my order. Another 20 minutes later my sandwich came out. It was great tasting but the poor service ruined my whole experience. Stayed for a few hours to get some work done. Sadly, I couldn’t hear myself think over the blaring radio. This place has a ton of potential but I don’t think I will return with high expectations.

The service in this place is extremely slow. The prices are just as expensive as Starbucks and the coffee is not as good. When I was there on a Saturday morning there were two kids who may have been the cashiers who were literally crawling on the counter and behind it. I prefer my coffee without kids boogers and dirty hands in it. I’m sure this violates some best practice of keeping a clean coffee shop. Seems a little over rated and over priced. They really should focus on customer service and be better than the chains or they’ll face the same destiny that the previous place here did and go out of business.

Great brew and great brew… wait a sec… didn’t I just say that? Exceptional coffee menu, light food and groovy vibe. Had occasion to be in the neighborhood and wanted to check this place out because of Unilocalers review of the open mic nights. I had the Almond Joy Mocha… some kinda good! I will def go back and try to catch a scheuled show and an open mic night.
