Wienerschnitzel

Okay definitely not the best chili dog on the planet. However 5 of them for 5 dollars is a great last minute cheap dinner.
Its not the healthiest meal but you could definitely eat worse, and if you are that concerned with health you shouldn’t be eating there anyway.
Although you can get a 100% beef frank dog on the chili cheese but its not their 5 for five deal.
Also there is no indoor seating at this location so be prepared to take it home or have everyone watching you as you devour one of the messiest foods since a Sloppy Joe.

This is thee only place I will buy a hot dog from with chili and cheese I love this place especially when I have some coupons lol!

Stopped in to pick up a quick lunch for friends. Super slow service! It took over 10 minutes just to get a corn dog and 4 plain hot dogs (5 for $ 5 special). The storefront has no shade and you’re stuck standing in the hot sun while waiting for your order. Beware of the metal counter top where you place your orders especially on a hot day because it will burn your arms (they have a tiny sign warning of this). I have nothing against Wienerschnitzel, but I will not be stopping at this location ever again.
Contrary to what another reviewer mentioned, there is no inside sitting at this location. There are tables with umbrellas located next to the restaurant but you’re better off eating in your car as this location is right next to a busy street.

This one has inside seating! You don’t see that very often. The dogs are a little small but they are inexpensive. Have them w/​chili and you’re good to go.

They need to be friendlier. The woman at the counter did not smile the whole time. Food was good for the price. She did not smile until I said thank you and wished her a Happy New Year. This brought the quality rating down.

Chili cheese dog and a corn dog with chili cheese fries for a snack later. Amazing!
I don’t know how they do it, there’s got to be MSG or fairy dust or drugs or something in the chili, because it tastes awesome. The hot dogs are standard and the buns are cheap cheap cheap white bread buns, but somehow this is the combination for an awesome chili cheese dog. The corn dog is equally delicious and when steaming hot and fresh, you can describe the smell to a fresh biscuit!
The area is a bit iffy at night, but they get your food out quick and they’re pretty friendly about it. Oh, and look in the paper for coupons, those things are as good as gold if you like Wienerschnitzel.

This is second time I’ve visited a Wienerschnitzel. First time was in El Paso. Got a pastrami sandwich which was barely ok. Not a good value for what you paid. Ice cream cone was horrid. I cant believe they make ice cream THAT bad. but I guess they do. Tasted so artifically flavored… FLASH FORWARD to THIS Wienerschntizel. I just came out of my doctors office. I’d had a back injection which included some steroids and Ketamine which I guess is what gives me the munchies. I saw the sign for «corn dogs .79 cents!!» Oh yeah! I go t to get me some! Its a very old looking building with a pitched roof think of a building that looks like the letter A. No drive up, you got to get out of the car and drag your carcass to the front window. I saw all the stuff on the menu, but settled for the corn dog. I still had memories from El Paso (even though it was over three years ago) While looking at the menu some more, that chili dog kinda tempted me… so I worked up the nerve to ask the nice man If there was any way I could sample the chili. I always offer to pay so they dont think Im a free loader. I dont object to paying .25 cents cause I figure if you dont like it. that cheaper than a whole chili dog. I’ve never been to a place that has charged me though. The guy at the counter looks kinda like a street guy who I would not want to tangle with (especially with my bad back). he is so nice though, very friendly and he stops his cleaning to make me a little sample of the chili and gives me a grin and says. «no charge». I try this chili and I’ve got to say its pretty good. I notice sign that on monday the chili dog is only a dollar. I figure I’ll come back on monday to get one. Finally my corn dog is done and its probably the best corn dog Ive had… so good I had to order another before they put out the closed sign and shut off the lights. Those corn dogs are just so good. I had to come back another day to make sure they were really that good (and not just cause I had all that medicine in me)… second time was as good as the first. now… if I can just remember to go there on monday…

LOL… I Know I’m giving it four stars, but trust me this is for the Gooey Chili Cheese Dog with onions and soft bun, and of course Pepsi. I drove by Monday and said what the heck, it didn’t hurt that I was hurtin and needed a little something bad, really bad… This was a cheap eat, served hot and hit the spot.
The location has little to be desired, very little and I hated walking up, but what the heck I can be daring at times and get out of the car for a quickie… It was worth every bite.

I was hungry as fuck yesterday, while driving through the South Bay.
Stopped in grabbed an order of mini corn dogs and I was set. Yaaay!
