The Winemaker’s Cellar

So I think my biggest pet peeve about this place was finding it! It took almost 15 minutes of driving back & forth on Goffle Rd to get a signal on my GPS because the signage is just awful!!! However the plus is once you know it’s there, you know it’s there!
It wasn’t quite what I expected either. The place has in what looked like an industrial style lot that it shared with some kinda of repair shop.
Came here for a girls night with my bestie for a pig roast. Great spread of food, very filling with tons of fresh swine being fire grilled to perfection. The meat was hot, well seasoned & melted in your mouth. Potato salad, rice & beans, pasta salads, were to accompany my delicious pork friend as it practically jumped into my mouth hitting almost every taste bud.
It’s cool that they give you a presentation on the wines & let’s you test them. Would definitely like to come back her to do some «I love Lucy» style grape stomping of my own!

Interesting deal. Girlfriend bought a living social deal for this place and it was fairly worth it. There was a big group of people there tonight and it was a mixed crowd. The appetizers were frozen treats. And there were a mixture of cheese and crackers.
The little quick lesson in wine was cool and informative but people were being loud and disrespecting of the presenter.
«Dinner» left some to be desired. They catered from a local Italian restaurant and the food really didn’t have any flavor.
Of the wines I tried the Cab was definitely the best out of them. Probably wouldn’t do it again but got our monies worth taking home 4 bottles of wine with our deal.

Was very interested in trying this place out with a Groupon but their events were all sold out through the expiration date. When I contacted the owner via phone, the owner promised to follow-​up with confirmation for an event in December and she never sent me an email. Then I followed up with another email months later and got a response with no apology or attempt to make things right.
