Silk City Tattoo

I went here about a month ago for my first tattoo. The people are friendly and fun. I left a 40 $ deposit. Mickey was my artist and he did large lettering on my calf. He was a funny, chill guy who made it a great first tattoo experience. It came out perfectly and he gladly increased the size of the tattoo for me. The place is a decent size and very clean and looks cool. Awesome experience and I will absolutely be back in the near future!

Such a great place to get ink and Christian is the best artist here. Ruler kicks ass too.

A tattoo is a lifetime commitment so it is essential to choose the right artist and tattoo shop. After multiple recommendations from friends and reading awesome reviews about Silk City Tattoo online, I decided to call the shop to find out what their booking process was. Right off the bat, my phone call was answered with a very friendly greeting and all my questions were happily answered. I went to the shop that same day to make my appointment. Again, as soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude. I was introduced to Vinny and we discussed my tattoo. He made me feel extremely comfortable and confident that he would bring my vision to life. I was having a quote that is very special to me tattooed on my foot. We set up my appointment and I was on my way. Two weeks later it was time to get my tattoo. I went in, filled out the necessary paperwork and finally got to see the design that Vinny came up with. He made sure that I absolutely loved it (which I did!) and we got ready to start tattooing. We agreed on the best placement for the tattoo on my foot and then got started. There’s no way to decrease the pain, but Vinny worked quickly and carefully, occasionally asking if I was doing ok. When the tattoo was complete, he was sure to go over all the details regarding the after care of my tattoo. He assured me that if any issues came up with the healing, he would happily touch it up. Silk City is beyond clean and professional. Everyone that I came into contact with was extremely friendly and I felt totally comfortable being there. I absolutely adore my tattoo!!! I would highly recommend Silk City Tattoo for all your tattoo needs.

Got my first tattoo here. Very clean place, excellent artists. There was a little miscommunication about my tattoo, which was no one’s fault really. Just a miscommunication. They fixed it for free once I had healed. Very happy with it.

I LOVE this place! I’ve seen work by all the artist and they are all amazing! I’ve only had work done by Christian! My father who was dead set against me getting another tattoo saw the portrait Christian did for me and now he recommends them to anyone he hears about even just thinking of getting work done! I moved to Phoenix this summer and need to go back to Jersey by the end of this year to do somethings. Well i planned my trip back there when Christian had an opening! I cant wait!

I have been going to this Tattoo place for a few years now. friend of mine works there now. Artist name is Ruler. My husband has been getting his ink done by him for over 10 years now. Everyone at the place is a great artist. We always tell our friends to go to this place. and every time is a great outcome. They all Love their Tats. each artist has their own style. friendly staff and friendly artists.
