Worst place to eat. Chicken is cold and not fresh at all. I don’t what they are doing if they can’t even serve decent food. Customer service, food is bad. Don’t waste your money by going here.

My husband and I went her for dinner tonight because we were in the area and it so it sounded good. I did not read reviews or look the Resturant up before hand. I am glad I didn’t as that may have kept us from trying it. The Resturant was empty. The workers were nice and we really liked the food. Tons of flavor and spice. We will definitely be ordering from here again. We had the shami kabab, the boneless tandoori chicken and the tandoori prawns. My only complaint would be the shrimp were not as large as I expected them to be and they were a little over cooked but the flavor was great.

This was my first time trying Pakistani and indian food and to say I was highly disappointed in this place was an understatement. We ordered the kabob platter for delivery, an hour later no delivery nothing we call them and they said to call back 10 minutes later if the driver hasn’t arrived, I call them asking for a discount since the food has not arrived yet and they told me they couldn’t give me anything. The driver finally arrives a couple minutes later. The food was not hot and was very very dry. I regret this being the first place to try Pakistani and Indian food. Never again.

I ordered chicken kabob wrap. The wrap literally had just dry kabob, cucumbers wrapped in a Nan. This is probably the most unpalatable wrap I have ever tried. For god sake try to eat what you sell to your customers. This wrap is uneatable, it is so dry and without any flavor. If there was ever a Flavor Police, these guys would be arrested without bail. I ordered food not furniture to put in my mouth. Add some curry, rice or at least for god’s sake some chutney.

This place should not exist. Not an Indian/Pakistani restaurant by any stretch of imagination. Food is awful. Service is awful.

This place is crazy. I go in because they had a sign for street tacos. Then I get told that you have to buy 4 at a time. The fancier tacos you have to buy 3 at a time. What if I want 2? What if I want 5? They won’t do it. Yet, they are individually priced? What if I am broke? What if I’m not that hungry. So I ordered Chicken Biriyani. I totally wanted a premium taco as well but couldn’t order one. Can you believe that, a restaurant that wont see you what’s on the menu and won’t take your money! Stupid for business. There were so many tiny bones in my food I couldn’t eat it. I could choke or chip a tooth. What a joke. There policy is greedy selfish and ignorant.

Let me just say this place was outstanding! Delicious food with different variety: Indiana, Persian, and Mexican. All in one, what else an you ask for. The service was great. It’s a little hole in the wall but totally worth every minute I was in there. The owner was such a sweet and outgoing guy, love the energy! Keep up the great work:)

Excellent food and the staff is very friendly. In a strip mall with a small dine in area, but décor is fun and tables are large.

I really enjoyed the boneless chicken. Place was quiet and lots of parking. Easy place to jump on and off the freeway if you are stuck on the 405 and hungry. I would definitely eat there again.

We had a great family dinner there tonight! Scratch Kitchen. Great Customer service. It seemed family owned. What I would think was the owner came over and was so great! Really really enjoyed it. The ricotta cheese appetizer was really really amazing. We will be back for sure.

Tried to go here. They are NOT open at 11. This is hugely horrible and bad business. Please update your hours!

Delicious food, got the chicken tikka masala and plain naan. Yum. Place isn’t very busy but should be. Hidden gem.

Food might be good, but I’ll never know. 90 minutes before their listed closing time, they won’t serve at the restaurant… because they close shop an hour early. Not coming back.

Wow this place is good. I don’t go to Hawthorne that much but I feel like I want to come here when I do! My colleague is a frequent diner here and introduced it to me. Service is so incredibly friendly. Order the chicken masala! It’d a must!!! I’m craving it as I write this. 5 stars for service and food

I had seen this place listed on some website but couldn’t quite picture where it was. I was driving home from a late night supervision duty. I was super hungry. I thought, I will go to Qdoba and get some queso. I had no idea that Qdoba was gone.(I rarely go in that direction. It has probably been gone for years.) So, I pull into the parking lot and see Royal Kabob. Stomach took over and I stopped the car. I thought it would be a middle eastern restaurant, but it is more Indian/Pakistani. I ordered the paneer tikka(I think that is what it was called.) The cheese was good, but the flavoring on the outside wasn’t flavoring. It was bright orange and looked like it would be good, but NOTHING had any flavor. It desperately needed some salt. I don’t like to add salt to my food, so I choked it down, but I wouldn’t order that again. I also got a combo seekh kabob plate. It had chicken and I don’t quite remember the other meat. Might have been beef; don’t think it was lamb. The chicken was better anyway. The rice underneath had a nice mouth feel. The salad was just a regular salad. The chana massala on the side, however, was out of this world. Terrific flavor, creamy sauce, beans actually picked up some of the flavor. I almost licked the takeout box. I would go back and order that by itself. Will I go out of my way to go back? No. If I am in that area again, I might give them another go.

Wow! I have to update my review because Royal Kabob managed to hit it out of the ballpark today! They have definitely improved their curries and the boneless chicken kabob is still spiced perfectly. I really enjoyed meeting the owners wife and could not help but notice how sweet and cordial the service was as well. I tried the aloo parata today which was also delicious. Real Pakistani food just like my moms– healthy, yet packed with Make sure to have a boneless tandoori chicken seekh! Absolutely delicious it’s the best part!
