What do you want, plush towels at twice the price, or firm hands, a friendly smile and a world class massage at a reasonable price?
If your idea of «luxury» is the latter, this is your place.
Leeza showed my sore trap who’s boss in 90 minutes, and I might need to go back tomorrow.

What a nice surprise in little Hawi! We come to Hawai’i often, love the ice cream at the coffee shop, and now there’s another reason to drive to (or stay in) Kohala. My partner had the idea to try a massage here, and I’m so glad we did. Highly recommend! Yes, it may be a bit far from your lodging, but call ahead, or book ½ hour like I did. Like another said: don’t pay $$$$ at a resort spa, come here.
Everything you’d want was perfect: clean, comfortable, good value, and of course: an excellent massage (we had Leeza)! She’s very strong, and knowledgable of the body. She turns on a fan, or opens the window to the mountain breeze — it’s very relaxing!

Booked 90 min massages for my boyfriend and I. Early christmas gifts. Both therapists were good. Good strong pressure and nice flow which is what I like. My boyfriend said the same about his except he said his was a little all over the place… whatever that means. We live both here on the big island and on Oahu, so Im excited to have finally tried this place as I have seen the sign every time I’m in Kohala. The price was decent and I would recommend this place before paying the Waikoloa resort prices. Plus we did get the kamaaina discount. I will definitely be returning and I recommend trying this place out for yourself.

We live in Hawi. My husband and I are both very particular about massage. We prefer a therapist who is intuitive as well as proficient. Leeza at Health in Motion is world class. If you are visiting the Island, you will find the prices at this studio a fraction of what you’ll pay at the Kohala Coast resorts.
