First time at Sweeney Todd’s and also my last. Haircut turned out fine, but customer experience was pretty terrible. As soon as I sit down in the chair the barber starts chatting with another customer, a conversation that went on for my entire haircut. Topics included an alcoholic cousin, a detailed comparison of different strip clubs, a prostitute ex-girlfriend with 4 DUIs, and some guy’s baby mommas(I wish I was making this up!). I get people chat in barbershops, but maybe choose some other topics when you got a new customer in(pro-tip: no one wants to hear about how your buddy sucked on a stripper’s breast). Besides the annoying conversation, I also didn’t like that for 90% of the hair cut, I wasn’t facing the mirror. Busy in her conversation about strip clubs, the barber didn’t ask me anything along the way, only turning me to the mirror when she was done to ask if everything looked fine. They do a good job cutting hair, but too much nonsense conversation and inattention to customers to have me coming back.

I’m getting my or cut at Sweeny Todd’s for a couple of years now. Every barber there is professional, courteous and a good barber. The last year and I’ve been going to Eric. Eric listens to the costumer, takes his time to get it right and gives me a stellar haircut every single time I go in, down to the last detail. Highly recommended!

Love this place! Best consistent hair cuts I have ever had… and they do a great job on my two sons as well. The long waits have gone down since they have basically become appointment only. It’s a little more expensive now since they are appointment only, but well worth it in my opinion.

I loved this place… But when a business simply raises their rates 33%, I can’t participate!

I have had my hair cut by erik, darius and tom, all three were awesome. I tend to get there when they first open as not to wait, but its worth the wait if u need to wait. Its also cheap. Compared to some other places, $ 15 is a steal.

I have been looking for a place that I can trust, professional, friendly, and for the right price. I found it. These guys care, take their craft seriously, and are on point. The facility is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I wasn’t even facing the mirror, but I felt good about it the whole time. I trusted them from the start. They have a new customer.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Showed them a picture of a nice looking faux hawk on my phone, and I come out looking like my mom gave me a cut… And my mom is pretty bad at cutting hair. Really though? My hair was already styled to a faux hawk when I walked in, all you had to do was shape up the sides and make it look a little cleaner. But you end up ruining my nice hawk… Not going back to this crappy place in havertown again. Don’t act like you know what you’re doing, ask customers every step of the way if the cut is going according to what they’re looking for. I’d give you a half star if it was possible. If you can’t do that style, then be honest and say you suck as a stylist and you can’t give that cut. Just don’t dive right in and start chopping off hair, God damn! Someone recommended this place to me too, you know who you are. Screw you man!

After moving to the Mainline, it took me three years to find a barber I trust. Celia not only handles my haircut and beard, but now my brother’s, and as of today, my wife’s hair styling. Highly skilled, total pro. We couldn’t be happier.

I almost hate writing a review for these guys, would rather keep them to myself. That being said if you want a tight cut, fade, whatever; they are on point.

I took my son there today for his first haircut. I was very apprehensive about it but I have heard many good things about this place so I decided to try it out. I called first to make sure they cut baby/children hair and they did. Of course my son goes in rare form as soon as we arrive and basically screamed the entire haircut. Despite that chaos everyone remained friendly and professional. Erik gave my boy a fantastic haircut and now he looks like a big boy. I felt terrible disrupting the place but they were very understanding and compassionate. I was watching others get haircuts while I was there and I was impressed. Go there now!

Finally! After many tries at other barber shops I found the best one in Delco. Darius gave me a nice, clean, even fade & was a pleasure chatting with. Very personable, friendly and laid back. The shop is centrally located, even for someone like me that doesn’t drive. I HIGHLY recommend!

Glad I found a place in Havertown for a straight razor shave! I have been driving to exton and into the city to get them. This place was only $ 20 bucks and just as good if not better. 2 hot towels and one cold. He really took his time and made sure everything looked right. I will be going back here on a regular basis. I will have to try them for a hair cut too. I was told that a hair cut and a shave is only $ 30 bucks. If the cut is as good as the shave this will move it up to 5 stars.

Good barbers Bad Times. I like to think it says it all. There is on Barber who is the owner is the best there by far. There is also a woman there who is also fairly good in my opinion. Everyone else is a shot in the dark. The only bad thing about this place is that they don;t take appointments at all. They are walk in only. I have waited only 30 mins some times but on average it could be an 2 hours or more. I’d say if you need to be in and out wait until they start to take appointments cause you could be there a while.
