Visited: Friday — January 22, 2016 — 9AM I scheduled a routine lab visit through the Quest Diagnostic website. I arrived 8:50 for a 9AM appointment and signed the register. A radio played loudly behind a technician. The technician was accepting pertinent information from a patient. I took a seat. There were two patients seated in the waiting room. By 9:10AM, the technician was still registering information from the patient. I was convinced another technician would have emerged to assist; that never occurred. It became clear that there was only one technician. At about 9:15AM, I asked a woman how long she was waiting. She looked at her watch and sighed that her appointment was scheduled for 8:45AM and was SECOND to a person sitting across the room. I thanked her, left my seat, crossed out my name from the register and left. During my stay, patients continued filling the waiting room to near capacity. So much for scheduling an appointment through the Quest Diagnostic website.
