Merry Place Playground

Been here more times than I can count. The playground was so fun as a child for me. There is a lot of things to do there with your kids (wooden castle, swings, volleyball, tennis, several playgrounds). What I love the most is their nature trails. You can really see how beautiful nature is there. You can even jump into the creek on a hot summer day because of the rope swing someone put up. I’ve had countless memories here and I can’t wait to go again.

In addition to the playground, there are also two tennis courts, two volleyball courts, and a gazebo. For such a small park, it manages to offer a nice variety for different folks. There is a water fountain available as well.

I’ve lived in the area for over thirty years and although I knew there was a playground here I had no idea it was so nice. Lots of kids activities– jungle gyms, a huge tree house/​castle thing, big kid and little kiddo swings, beach volley ball a sandbox– great stuff.
There are whimsical little butterfly benches and a sweet gazebo for parties. My friend booked it for a party last weekend and it was a great spot for the kids– our crew was 0−4yrs.
There were a few strange folks stilling through– I think there are trails that wrap around and through the creek– but they stayed out of the party :-)
