I moved to NH in June of ’12 from the bay area in Ca. & it took well over a year to finally find a radio station I can enjoy. I saw a piece on NH chronicle recently about this station & it’s now the only one I listen to. It’s reminds me of one of the stations (KFOG)frequently listened to in Ca. like a little piece of home.

They play Ryan Adams, which makes me happy :)

Like the station; however never can get any info from the station; also the listing online of what’s been played is inaccurate; heard great tune tonight on the road from work; couldnt catch the name of the band when announced; looked online and they totally skipped this band (from England) on the listing for tonight;s playlist; tried to call; no response; not impressed; not happy

Great Station! I listen all the time; it’s a button on my 4WD truck radio.

Ok i confess, i used to call them ALL the time way back in the day when they were Lyte. the music is pretty good all the time. If im in the car and my ipod is broke ill usually put this station on. It plays a lot of alternative music (is it even called that these days?)

I’m actually disappointed by The River. I listen to them a lot and like them better than their competitor just up the dial. But they pick a song or artist and play it to death. We listen to them at work and the station used to be on all day. Now it’s on until one of «those songs» comes on and then it’s CDs for the rest of the day. They’ve done it with (or maybe to) Norah Jones and Coldplay, now they’re killing Amy Winehouse (though she does a pretty good job herself). They were on a roll for a while last year, but by this summer it seems to be back to the same old format: good stuff 80% of the time and then chase people away with the other 20%. If I was just listening to it in the car or for short periods, I’d love it. But they just can’t last for an entire day in my office. Four stars because they’re better than most other stations but they’ll lose us after a few hours without fail.
Those Irving commercials they play every summer chase us away too, but I guess they’ve got to pay the bills.

92.5 «The River» is my favorite radio station. It plays commercial and independent artists like Paula Cole, KD Tunstall, REM, Keane, Coldplay to name a few.
The River appreciates music. They never cut the songs short, talk over them, or overplay certain songs. Great variety for the mature adult.

The 90-​minute-​plus blocks of uninterrupted music all day long and lack of annoying commercials keep listeners happy. I’ve traveled all over the world and can honestly say that when it comes to variety and quality of music, 92.5, The River wins Best Radio Station Ever in my book.
