Amazing. Really amazing. Paul and his lovely family operate this enormous source of incredible antiques. They are so knowledgeable about each and every piece. And the prices are so reasonable. Anywhere else they would be so much higher. Ever shopped in Essex? Hudson? These prices are so good! The range from fussy Victorian to simple country. French, English, American. They have it all. Well from 30’s and before — no mid-mod.

Paul Martin Antiques… The Holy Motherload of Antiques. This place is f’ing HUGE! 3 Floors filled to the brim in an old warehouse in Haverhill. These are also not just old junk, but really nice pieces of furniture. The prices are not matched to make this stuff move, as it seems as much of it has not been moved(or able to be moved as it is packed in so tightly). A fun place to browse and shop if your rich.

Wow, multiple football-field-sized floors packed with antique furniture. These pieces are HIGHQUALITY, EXPENSIVE, and ORNATE; you have to be into fine furniture and willing to pay for it to be buying anything here. Not my style(mid century modern, industrial) so I didn’t get anything, but it was worth the trip to see these jaw dropping pieces. I would say it’s 95% furniture and 5% framed art and decorative objects.

All i can say is WoW ! Upon arrival to this warehouse of antiques I rang the bell to a locked glass security door. A kindly woman answered and stated how many I help you young man. I had described the item I had been looking for, I must of passed her visual exam it seemed to be allowed in the building. Once in the door she had to led me into the 1st floor room. To my amazement of how many well kept antiques were here. After 45 mins walking around the multiple levels, sadly I didn’t find what I had been looking for. Unlike most other antique shops no junk here. The items were priced moderate to steep. So many massive items there was even a beautiful grandfathers comtoise clock. it must of been 11 or 12 ft tall and was priced just shy of $ 5k. This would have to be the Newbury st. of antique stores and I’ve been to TONS of them! Check them out if they think you a serious buyer I’m sure they would let you in!
