I have been coming to Leah Mae’s for years, it all started when I came back from South Africa in 2009 and decided that I wanted to have tea time all the time so we went there for the first time on my birthday and now it is one of my family’s favorite places to be.
Not only is the tea shop adorable with all of the eccentricities from the mismatched tea sets to the room full of treasures but the food is definitely delicious! They make every homemade in the house and then it is served to order so don’t go there if you are in a rush because everything is served when it’s ready.
If you like quiche or meat pies, then this is the place for you — all of their food is served in individual portions so you don’t have to feel like you need to share! Get your own of everything and you will love it all!
I recommend going in the afternoon for some tea and to shop for things you didn’t even know you needed! What a gem of a restaurant!
