Grant Burner Service

I called Grant Burner Service to come out and inspect and clean an oiler boiler at a home I am purchasing The home inspector said it was old and running rough and needed to be cleaned. I suspected there was more to it than that. Grant came out and informed me it wasn’t even worth cleaning. He knew all about the boiler and that even when new it wasn’t a very good one. He identified the wrong size and improperly installed chimney on it and that it didn’t have enough air in the space where it was to run properly so it was sucking back in it’s own exhaust. He is giving me a few estimates on replacements and didn’t even charge me. Saved me thousands on the purchase of the home and a failed boiler with a newborn in the home!
