Cute boutique. Cute different italian clothes. Could see this being targeted toward older ladies. Dresses average about 100 $. Then always a rack 50% off. Pricey. Workers, girls dont really seem to care about being there & seem to have no interest in the clothes & dont know much about the clothing if you ask a question. Ive been to Harlem & Belmont locations.

One of Chicago-land’s gems of a store. Has so many unique, QUALITY items for such affordable prices, its a wonder why there isn’t a line out the door.

I love this place for their originality and Polish kitchen gadgets. Their window displays are always so cute and lure me in. I can’t recall when I’ve walked out with out purchasing something. The glass bowls, vases are all gorgeous and not really expensive. Similar in price to what you’d pay at C&B, but with a lot more originality. Lots of the items are handmade, lacey doilies(sp?), jewelry, glass items. My favorite part is in the back with the kitchen gadgets. Its like old world Poland with some cuteness. I got a cool measuring/diet scale that has ounces, lbs, and GRAMS! Woo hoo, was so happy to have grams on there, no more online conversion. Caution — going there near Christmas, the place is packed, you knock down glass items, you pay! But the sheer beauty of items from Poland and Eastern Europe, guaranteed you will not find elsewhere. The girls working there at first seem a little snooty, but they are not. Once you ask for help, they are real friendly. They helped me pick out accessories to match a vase, flowers, dangles, different candles, etc. Very nice!

I love this place! We stumbled across it utterly by accident, having pulled into the parking lot to drop a lot of used clothing into the Helping Hands drop box. We noticed the Oak Mill Bakery and thought«Why not?» and when we finished there we wandered next door, lured by the shiny things we could see through the window. Wow. Just wow. I had no idea of the scope of Polish imports or their beauty. I’ve always admired Polish stoneware, but found it outside my price range. Not so much here where the prices are about half to a third of what I’ve seen elsewhere. There is some gorgeous tableware here including some lovely stemware. But the real stars, IMO, are the Christmas decorations. I picked up a pair of lovely red ornaments for $ 2.99 each, and the gal at the counter actually boxed them for me! Three dollar ornaments. Who does that? I went to join Jim and Dawn and found them examining the motherlode of Christmas decorations; beautiful botanicals encrusted in gold and silver glitter or paint or some other sparkly bits. I found a cache of handpainted ornaments for about $ 20 each. I scored a really handsome eyelet table runner for next to nothing. By all means, you can go there for the kitchenware, for the tableware, for the bath and bodycare supplies, and you can find wonderful stuff in all those areas. But if you are a Christmas junkie like I am, be sure to check out every corner of the displays because you will find some remarkable things to hang on your tree. Cross my heart.
