Always a great breakfast or lunch. Been several times and tried many things off the regular menu as well as specials — have not been disappointed. Service is fast and friendly, and prices are very reasonable. Lots of locals and regulars — as well as lucky visitors.

One of Cape Cod’s best kept secrets. Very fair pricing and good food. If you’re on a budget this is the place. I love their soups. I’ve had worse at better known restaurants. Good friendly and attentive service. If you’re on the Cape on vacation and want to save a few dollars give it a try. Not much to look at from the outside but don’t let that scare you away.

I am tentative to write a review as the service and food are outstanding that I don’t want to share. The food is delicious and ample, the service is unsurpassed. Enjoy!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning– I order 2 egg sandwiches to go that were good, western style! It came with potatoes that were excellent!

Another great breakfast at the Lighthouse Café. Again busy, but no wait(off season). We were going to go to another place in Dennis(with initials TRC), but we just couldn’t rationalize the wait. Great service again, poached eggs on marble rye toast with their de-lish hash browns. Son got the homemade hash eggs beni. I am not generally a fan of homemade hash(tends to be grisly and not chopped fine enough) but this was solid. This is definitely a place to put in your rotation. For diner food, this is the real deal, upgraded my rating to 5 stars.

A good solid local restaurant. Seems like a place that catrs to locals, which is a plus to me. We had breakfast, but the lunch specials spoke of diners of yesteryear. My wife had the eggs bene. Huge chunk of ham and very good. I had the home made hash. I think they used shallots instead of onions to give it a milder, sweeter take on a breakfast staple. Service was great and the place was clean. We would definitely look them up again next time in town.

One of the better breakfast venues I have been to on the mid cape, great service. Family atmosphere. Very fair prices. Good food, good portions. I recommend it highly!

The breakfast food was very good and fresh, and you get a lot of it. It was a cute, quaint mom-and-pop type establishment. For those who rely on their GPS to get places, the zip code in Unilocal is not correct, there are two 216 Main St addresses in Harwich and in GPS you want to choose the one with the 2671 zip and not the 2645 zip.

My opinion… The prices were good and the food was good. It was not that special though. I wish the portions were bigger. Our waitress seemed a little grouchy.

Great coffee, good portions and always consistent. Good prices too. I love their home fries and you do get quite a bit of them with the 2−2−2, which my husband I always order

I went to this restaurant with my family(including my handicapped mother) on a recommendation. No one greeted us at the door, and because it was empty we assumed it was a «seat yourself» place… most of the tables we saw were for 4, there was 5 of us and we were trying to find a comfortable place for our mother who had a cane. After a couple of minutes, a waitress showed us a table for 5, which we thanked her for. As I turned to that table to sit down, I saw another waitress turn to the waitress that showed us the table say«stupid!!» I was shocked and appalled! We had never been to this restaurant before and did not know the seating arrangement and for this girl to call us STUPID is unfathomable! Because of that comment, I made my family leave. If she called us that, what would she do to our food? I deal with customers every day and If i ever said something like that, I would be fired! whoever owns this place needs to pay attention to their wait staff. they are a reflection of YOU and with what I experienced, it was HORRIBLE!

One of my most favorite places to eat breakfast on the cape! If you have a chance I recommend the light house hash when it is on special.

We love this place for breakfast. It is basic breakfast spot with a home feel and nautical décor. Nice specials menu… good coffee… good service… good prices.

This is a great hidden find. Everything is very reasonably priced, mostly everything is under $ 7. I ordered an omelet I loved that you could get tomatoes instead of homefries since I can’t have homefries on my diet, I loved that you could refuse the toast if you didn’t eat it, so I got extra tomatoes. The bacon was overcooked and saturated with oil not my favorite but the omelet was excellent! This is cash only, no cards accepted. Great ambiance, good for families, they have toys and books for kids to keep them happy.
