This place is basic and that’s fine with me. The problem is that is very dirty. The room smells when you come in. The carpet is stained. The cabinets have a layer of sticky dirt on the bed side. There were pubic and other hair behind the bathroom doors. I had an urge to wash my hands after touching remote. The pillows stink. The pool needs serious cleaning — there is gray stripe of dirt all above the water level. If the pool is clean the water would be more turquoise. We payed $ 80 for a room with 2 queen beds. We didn’t expect much. I personally do not care to sleep in a fancy place. But keeping hotel this filthy is just wrong. That’s not a matter of money. It’s the matter of not caring. I was told that Heritage Inn is the only hotel in Harvard, IL. To be this dirty it’s shameful.

Doesn’t deserve to have a star. If it does get a star for something, it’s that the mattress has a protective sleeve to detract any bed bugs. The hallway upstairs reeks of smoke from the smoking rooms below. The price is steep for such a tiny grungy place. We are here for a wedding, and should have considered making the drive from Lake Geneva.

This hotel doesn’t even deserve one star. The lady that works the front desk is rude. Pretty sure this is the only hotel without vending machines. They have a pop machine but it’s empty? Go anywhere else but here

Hotel choices are pretty limited in Harvard. This hotel is a very basic choice. Unfortunately, the room definitely smelled stale when we checked in(have housekeeping open a window while they’re in there). The pool was ok(on the cool side). It was unfortunate to see that there had been a hot tub that was no longer there(filled in). The sauna door needs to close to be useful. As far as the«breakfast» goes, head down the street to Kozy Nook or the like…
