First off, her work isn’t very good. I’m actually shocked after this experience. It felt like something from a movie. After a very pleasant experience with Vicky, we spoke with the owner who’s name is Jamie. Jamie was so awful I’m surprised she still has a business. She has racially insensitive signs all over her shop, as well as signs that explain her distaste for customers and she certainly adheres to them. She called one morning saying that our alteration would cost $ 268 and if we didn’t like that price we had to come right away and pick up the dress. She said because we had requested a 24 hour turn around that she had stayed late to finish it, although we said we needed the dress taken in by March. Which is 3 months away. She couldn’t have stayed late to finish it, because if that were true, she wouldn’t have called us and said that if we didn’t agree to the price, we had to come pick it up. If she had already finished it, how would we have the opportunity to object? She quickly took the dress in, so she could charge us the $ 268. All of this was after she told us she wouldn’t even be starting on the dress for four days after our conversation. When we arrived on the 28th, which was the day we had originally agreed to pick up the dress, she was instantly argumentative, just as she was on the phone, and blamed it all on her daughter-in-law. She only accepts cash, which is a little bit suspicious, and was saying things like ‘I don’t care, I don’t have to listen to pieces of crap like you’ and at no point in dealing with her was she professional. It was shocking because her daughter-in-law was so friendly and pleasant, and here she was blaming everything on her. On top of everything her work isn’t very good, which was somehow fitting. I wish I didn’t have to give 1 star, because she doesn’t deserve it.
