An update since my review in November 2014 — NY Sports Club now has a «no frills» deal where you pay $ 19.95 per month. The catchis you can’t sign up for classes ahead of time and you must bring your own towel. Given that 90% of the classes are in the middle of the day when I’m at work, I now believe that $ 20 a month is the fair price for this gym. Stil not the best gym, but at least now I don’t feel I am overpaying.
