Had lunch today here. It was a delightful experience. Service was great and lunch of quiche, soup, pumpkin bread and dessert was presented so nicely and tasted good. If in the area please stop by. Gift items are great also. It is a relaxing environment with real linens. My husband enjoyed it also.

I first came here with a friend for lunch and tea about three years ago. I have since returned fairly regularly for the same. Nancy is the proprietor, and does a great job keeping her customers happy. The tea offerings are vast from white, black, green, fruit, spice and herbal blends. They have a price fixe style menu for lunch that includes some type of sweet bread, side salad or cup of soup, and entrée. The entrée choices I have sampled are the salmon patty, quiche, and chicken pot pie. I love the salmon patty which is made with a corn flake crust and accompanied with orange marmalade. The quiches are also lovely, well made and scrumptious. Desserts: some are home made on the premises, others by a baker, try the iced lemon cake if available. The atmosphere of the tea room is lots of different tables throughout the house in the dining, parkour and living rooms. In addition to being a lunch spot, Nancy also sells vintage items. Most of the treasures are ensconced upstairs, but there are a few on display near the front entrance. You may find jewelry, glassware, linens, accessories and dresses from a bygone era. Also on hand is teas and tea accessories. I look forward to trying the full English tea later this year, and recommend you visit this tea room for a fun time.

I was very disappointed in service. We visited the restaurant for my mothers 90 birthday, we had made a reservation. I was a little late picking up a corsage and the waitress wanted everyone to order without me. She rushed us through lunch even though no one was waiting and very few tables were occupied. We mentioned it was moms birthday, her comment was I know you told me on the phone, no happy birthday. Food was fine, but experience was not enjoyed at all.

Met my college dorm mate and two other gals for lunch and tea at this delightful Tea Room and antique shop. Everything was delicious and the assortment of tea choices was extensive. Very charming atmosphere and attentive servers.

I met my aunt for lunch at Tyme Well Spent and it was positively lovely! The food was delicious — yummy spinach quiche and pumpkin bread — and the pot of tea(flavor recommendation by the kind owner) was so enjoyable! Then after our lunch, which was unrushed and calming, we walked around the 2nd floor where you are bound to find a scarf or purse or vase or jewelry — lots of vintage, upscale consignment — that you’ll love! Definitely excited to go back for another visit full of tasty lunch /tea /shopping!
This is a magnificent tea room!!! The owner really knows her stuff when it comes to teas, china and entertaining. Just look at the pictures of the tearoom: For the past 5 years, she has been serving specialty teas, luncheons and private parties at the historical Gannon House in Hartland, Michigan. Stepping into the 1897 Queen Anne Victorian home is like stepping back in time, beautiful place settings, handmade linens, attention to detail like you’ve never seen before! I like teamap’s description: «The warm afternoon sunlight falls on beautifully set tables and the beautiful vintage china and pictures that dress the walls. The floral carpeting and hardwood floor gives off a cool touch completing the perfect setting.» It is often described by customers as one of the nicest tearooms in the world! This is my favorite restaurant for both food and ambiance… you want atmosphere — everything around you will generate conversation and memories. I like the multiple rooms, each with it’s unique décor and rich colors. Both the menu and the gift shop have something to offer everyone. I highly recommend the chicken salad — it is a waldorf-style and the best chicken salad I’ve ever had, crave it! I also love the shepherd’s pot pie and the quiche is wonderful! The teas are too varied to even name a favorite, I always get an entire pot with lunch! The food is excellent and the gift shop has both current items and upstairs there is a wonderful antique consignment shop, bring your old tea cups and consign them to trade them on new ones or linens. I had a great morning at the spa(Novi’s Visions Spa Salon ) followed by lunch at Tyme Well Spent and a little shopping at their gift shop which made for a lovely day with my friend. The consignment shop upstairs offers rare and lovely items to offer like linens, tea sets, antiques, jewelry, dolls, hand made baby gowns… and so much more! It is a also a great spot to have tea with your daughters, hold a wedding or baby shower, spend special pamper time with girlfriends, or have a romantic dinner with your husband. Tyme Well Spent also has a thriving Tea Club that provides you with many discounts and exclusive events, and with meetings so you can meet with other tea lovers and share stories. HOURS Wednesday — Saturday 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday & Tuesday is Available for Groups of 12 or more! Sundays are Available for Private Parties-Min. 20 RESERVATIONSAREREQUIRED — be aware that Saturdays fill up quickly. There is a lovely patio you can eat outside in summer, it overlooks a babbling brook and wooded area, very very nice! I noted that TEAMAP also rates them with 5 stars.
