Taksar Ray Bicycles

Ray Taksar owns a small shop located in the South End of Hartford. I visited to see what he was all about. I heard he had many vintage bikes that he more or less hoards in mediocre shape, but can fix up on a couple days notice if a customer wants one. The gentleman looked out across the little counter when I entered and asked me how he could help. He had a few very unusual vintage bikes for sale. Interestingly he had over 100 bikes there that he indicated needed repair. Total there were 20 bikes on display and no clear brand affiliation. Nice guy, he can probably fix anything, this is not a place to visit if you want a brand new bike or a bike built to specif action, and the shop is cluttered and dingy.
