Excel Heating & Cooling

When our AC broke yesterday, we sweated both literally and figuratively, knowing how expensive a replacement unit would be and wondering how long we’d have to wait for a diagnostic visit. I called Excel last night and their answering service said they don’t have 24-​hour service for new customers (major bummer) so I left a message. We made it through the night and at 7:30 this morning their office called. The very polite service tech (Paul) was here by 8:15, quickly diagnosed the problem (diagnosis fee was $ 70) and replaced the part which he had had in his truck for about $ 150. Less than an hour later the AC was working and we were all able to go on with our day. I would definitely do business with Excel again based on this positive experience, although I do wish they’d clarify their 24-​hour service policy on their website.

I can’t say enough positive things about this company. It is pretty devastating to find out your 7 year old (builder installed) AC unit is «totaled» and you need to replace it, but the staff and technicians at Excel worked their magic and got it taken care of quickly.
We were in a bind after tenants in our rental property had been without AC for almost 2 weeks, due to the poor customer service of another company we had initially gone with. Fed up, I called Excel for a second opinion. I had the pleasure of working with Brandon, Bradley and Jake from the diagnosis through installation. Not only did I experience polite and understanding voices on the other end of the line, but it’s apparent that all those employed at Excel have an intimate knowledge of their products and business practices. This made for an efficient and pleasant experience during a frustrating situation. These guys do what they say they will and show up on time. Their prices are reasonable too. Thanks again Excel for getting our property and tenants nice and cool again!

These guys are great! Smart, courteous, friendly and helpful. I build a new home and excel did my hvac work. After 6 months had some minor issues. These guys came right away and were ontop of things. Highly recommend.
