Tang’s Kitchen

I’m here from out of town and decided to walk around Harrison to find a place to eat in the neighborhood. I came across Tang Kitchen. I have to say; I’m please with our decision. The food was great and the people there are very humble and helpful. I was hesitant on what to order and the lady in the front gave me a sampler of the ceviche and I have to say it was pretty fresh and delicious. My husband order chop suey and he felt in love with the seasoning. Let me not forget the desert are made fresh and amazing taste. I will defenitly come back when I’m back in town.

Probably one of the better restaurants here in Harrison! Try the Picada — you won’t regret it!

I found this new place close to home while walking the dog. I was intrigued by the «Latin-​Asian fusion» menu, and they deliver. So I called on a rainy evening, and my wife and I waited with fingers crossed (delivery options are notoriously slow and limited in our area).
Well, the ordering process was great, the guy on the phone was very helpful (I had a couple of questions about some menu items). The food was delivered in under 30 minutes, and it was delicious!
We ordered the Vigoron, which is pork crackling fried crisp with yucca fries. It was served with a fresh salsa-​like mix that really made the dish. The other appetizer, mini beef tacos with cabbage slaw, was equally good. We didn’t even get to the entrée that night because those two appetizer portions were huge!
The thing that really stood out about the food was the freshness. Little details like a hint of lime and cilantro on the rice, the tangy salsa accompaniment, the seasoned cabbage… these make such a huge difference between average and special. I also appreciate that the frying oil was clearly fresh, I can tell when the oil is overused or not hot enough… everything gets soggy. Not in this case, the fried stuff was crispy and not overdone at all.
I will definitely be ordering again, and I wish them success. It’s great to have a good reliable option for delivery close to home. The food is made with care, and it’s delicious.

Tang’s Kitchen is a cute family-​owned restaurant. I went to their grand opening, and they were giving out little samples of their menu items. Try the flavor packed Chop Suey or any of the desserts. The Gilda’s rice pudding is some of the best I ever tasted — creamy and comforting. For those looking for something sweeter, try the tres leches! It’s undeniably delicious.
