New menu: crab cakes, lobster corn stew, Asian salad, beef lasagna, sweet potato steak fries, baked haddock, lamb chops, scallop shrimp sautéed and tossed in penne with a light cream sauce, a yummy line up of 8 oz Angus burgers, fish & chips and more. Incredible desserts too. All cooked to order.

Don’t see how they are still open after all these years. Don’t get me wrong I really don’t expect much from some of the local places. But come on a burger and Caesar salad can’t be that hard to make. Sorry won’t be back.

Great food, nice beer selection, fun staff! The mill building is very nicely appointed, my family enjoy the atmosphere. Was handicap friendly. We will be back for sure!

Been here a few times, but today’s lunch was awesome! Panko encrusted soft shell crab with fries. No one had complaints at our table of 12, from chicken fingers to lobster rolls. Great service from Patty.

Omg… Can you say great? This place is amazing! A lot of variety for a small town venue. Great food and weekly entertainment! I always have to stop in on my way through the area. Staff and the locals area always friendly. Great place to meet for drinks, food and fun!!!

Terrible… tried it a couple times and it was lousy… decided to try it for a quick take out order of burgers and fries… a very simple order they couldn’t even get it close. The burgers were way over cooked did not have any of the right condiments… and on top of everything else she charged our card for the wrong order. Given this place a fair chance and will NEVER make this mistake again!

I very much like this place. I have worked in Maine for 6 sommers and have been here many times. I like the food, drink and the service that you get. I love when they have live music — nothing to complain about at all. It’s a good place to go as a group as well.

Very nice place to eat! The service was very good as was the food. Would highly suggest the lobster roll! The onion soup was also fantastic if you’re into the soups. They do give you a basket of free bread but any extra bread they do charge.

To begin, yes the prices are high for this area and that may put people off. The atmosphere is great and the drinks are always perfect. The food has always been delicious in my experience and I eat here pretty regularly. I don’t eat seafood but everyone I bring here that does absolutely raves about how good the mussels are. The waitstaff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and really good at their jobs. I have had a very positive experience every time I have been to The Olde Mill Tavern.

My husband and I eat out frequently, especially him because he travels for work, and this was by far the worst meal we have had in a long time. We should have left after having the shrimp cocktail appetizer. The shrimp didn’t taste fresh and the cocktail sauce just had a weird flavor. They swordfish special that I ordered didn’t taste fresh either and was undercooked. The accompanying veggies were smothered in butter and the sweet potatoes tasted like a tin can. My husband’s burrito, for 16.99, had barely any chicken and was smothered in this horrible tasting sauce that tasted like it came straight from a can like my side dish. The best part of this experience was my glass of wine. I second all the other reviews — don’t waste your money here!

My family has been several times and all were good. Waitstaff is great, atmosphere fun and clean. They have entertainment on the weekend, karaōke to bands. Always a fun time. Last time in we had clam chowder, chili, cobb salad and steak bomb. chili was really good, not spicy(which I like) but still had good flavor. Menu has a lot of variety, which is nice.

Excellent service! The best black and tans at a very reasonable cost. Very clean, cozy atmosphere, fun interactive games for all ages. This was our second time here and it was phenomenal! We met the owner who helped our children with the new online trivia game. Well worth a visit.

I go every time I am in the area. In fairness, the food over the years has varied but this past weekend it was terrific. I ate at the bar, where the bartender offered the complete menu in a friendly way. The people with whom I conversed were wonderful, open. The pre-dinner martini was perfectly made and generous. The salmon was moist and cooked perfectly. The salad was fresh and crisp. The only thing that could use improvement was the bread basket. It needs some imagination. The price was in line with the area. Harrison is called The Friendly Village and our bartender/server was certainly that.

If there were any other restaurants in the area I would have gone there instead of this shit hole. The nice atmosphere did little to lighten the 1 hour wait for my overpriced and undercooked steaktips. Staring at crooked pictures on the wall as the waiter growled and sexual assaulted the people I was with while he filled our waters for a second time did nothing to shorten the time. A friend with a gluton allergy had a hard time determining whether or not the facetious waiter was joking around or being serious about her order and was forced not to eat out of fear of having an allergic reaction. Overall I wish I stayed in and ate peanut m&m’s than subject myself to a one hour wait in hell.

Gross — ever had an entire meal doused in butter? We have — its gross, vegetables, fish, potatoes all covered in butter. Gross. We even were stupid enough to go back a second time — asked for no butter and THEYDIDTHESAMETHING. So gross. Avoid at all costs.

The Olde Mill is in a very interesting building, and the restaurant has odd things on its walls – farm implements, stuffed animals, things like that. It replaces a much less ambitious restaurant(the Cracked Platter?) and offers pretty good food. You can have a nice evening there, but watch out for the surprisingly high prices on some dishes – when we ate there last summer, my friend ordered a steak that cost $ 32! He couldn’t eat it all, so he had it put in a doggie bag and actually fed it to the dogs when we got home. The service is fine, and other dishes aren’t so expensive, but they are a little high for rural Maine.
