La Pizza

We went for lunch because we had eaten there last year and enjoyed it.
Two of us had the house specialty pizza.
Fabulous.
We had the sautéed spinach in garlic and oil with Parmesan cheese appetizer. We could have had two each as they were melt in your mouth delicious. Unbelievable. The broccoli rabe pasta meal was also fantastic.
This is a lot more than you’d ever experience at a standard pizza place. This is a fabulous Italian restaurant that also serves pizza! Don’t miss the wine list. this place is a gem

Got a medium pizza and was super happy. Cheap and good for the price. The dough was super soft

Pizza was not as good as the review I read! crust was really hard instead of being chewy! Pizza was really oily and I had to take a paper towel to each slice, it was that bad! never again thanks!

I ordered hot&spicy garlic wings and they really nice! Me and my friends love them! It’s more like homemade style and not oily at all!

It’s rare that I say I luv pizza but La Pizza definitely has the best pizza. It’s thin crust all the way thru and made to perfection. It’s a local favorite for me. Definitely worth a visit.

Highly recommend the philly cheese steak wrap! As well as everything else on the menu!

The best NYC style pizza and wings this side of the Hudson. Anyone who says different has obviously never had real NYC pizza before. Pizza is always on point eat it there don’t get it to go bc then it is a waste. I have been going here for 5 years now and loveIit. The owner is cool and is always sweet when my family and I are in. Keep up the good work guys!

One my regular pizza joint. I would eat the pizza here anyday over Dominos or Papa Johns. Not only is it tastier, it’s cheaper and made to order as well.

The pizza we tried here was not the best, the crust is a hand tossed medium thickness variety. We tried the hawaiian which came with very odd dolops of a cheeselike substance on it. The regular wings were sold out when we went and we had the boneless variety (Sweet and Spicy). They were the standard rolled in sauce fried chicken pieces, not bad but not amazing.

This is the best local pizza money can buy, I have been eating here for several years, but the thing to eat here is the garlic knots (beware of garlic breath). They also have excellent wings the only down side is that its breaded wings. I have eaten several things from their menu and have never been disappointed including their deli sandwiches. The staff is extremely friendly.

It might not be the best pizza in town but it’s the cheapest (2 large pies for $ 15.99!) and I can walk to pick it up so it wins. Very thin crust, kind of oily, might even have too much cheese. But when you’re watching a game at home or just don’t feel like cooking because it’s 306 degrees outside… then pick up a six-​pack at Lito’s and a couple of pies from La Pizza and you’re good to go!

Excellent broiled fish dinners with rice, salad, all for a phenomenally low price. And it is ample for two people! Their pizza is great too. This is a friendly, neighborhood place.

I would avoid their pizza, not the best in the area (at all). Their specialty is their wings (19 different kinds of sauces) so hook yourself up with some of that yumminess. I tried their 10-​pc wings with Buffalo Gold sauce and Hot & Spicy Garlic sauce. Buffalo Gold is the true winner though — tangy mustard sauce mixed in with BBQ. The hot & spicy garlic sauce was unique in flavor, but not quite sure how to really describe its taste. Definitely a lot of garlic bits, but not that WHAM-​BAM garlic flavor.
Also, I noted this even before I went. In Tony Bourdain’s «No Reservation’s» New Jersey episode, they do replays of a drive-​by passing La Pizza at least 5x throughout that episode. Mr. Owner-​Man, you really should post some sort of ad about that on your windows :).
The owner is the nicest guy ever — incredibly accommodating, incredibly kind and he even rounded our bill down tonight just to keep it even.
