We lived here for 10 months.(For some reason a 10 month lease was the cheapest option) The management company — 1.5 stars. Every single document we received from them was extremely threatening. From the lease to any warning letters about picking up dog poop. The maintenance staff — 5 stars. We had a few problems at move in that were remedied right away. This past winter was rough and the parking lots were always plowed and our walkways kept clear of snow. Mark(who is no longer with the property) was friendly and worked his butt off. The apartment itself — 2.5 stars. We lived in an end unit one bedroom with a den. The apartment was extremely drafty. If I stood by any window in the winter I could feel the cold air blowing in. The heating/cooling system was either really hot or really cold. It was hard to find a happy medium. The walls were pretty thin, if my neighbors took a shower I could hear their water running. The dryer took forever to dry any amount of clothes(yes, I cleaned the lint trap after every load). The dishwasher did not so great of a job. Other points: We weren’t allowed to see the apartment until the cleaning had been completed. Which was literally the day before our move in date. The unit we were supposed to move into had very old style cabinets and didn’t look like the model we looked at. No one told us this. Very misleading. Luckily, there was a different unit that looked more like the model that was open so we moved into that one. Pet rent here is 30 $ a month per pet, with a 300 non refundable per pet, pet deposit. Seemed reasonable at the time until we moved and now our pet rent is only 20 $ per month for both of our dogs. But on the bright side there are no size restrictions. When we moved out the front office said our apartment looked ok, but then later after many weeks of radio silence only when I emailed and asked about our security deposit they said that our carpets were badly damaged due to our dogs. Ok, so no refund. Then, after some more weeks later we were charged additional money for carpet damage. Seems excessive after the 900(300 non refundable deposit, 60 per month x 10 months) we paid for our dogs.

Where to start with this place… me and my boyfriend lived here for almost 3 years, and we endured nothing but problems during our residency here. The first summer we lived there we bought a dog, which we paid for and registered with the office immediately, and my dog is so good and all around very quiet, and we all of a sudden started to receive a multitude of letters stating he was barking all day and all night, that we were not picking up after him and so on and so fourth. My dog barks like any dog, when the doorbell rings, the mail man puts mail and in box and if he saw another dog, and all of which he stopped after a minute or so. So I started thinking back to what was the root of the issue after consulting with all my next door and adjacent neighbors if my dog was a nuisance; which they all stated no and signed a letter to clear up that he doesn’t disturb anyone, and I came to the conclusion that the office was singling me out because we had complained to the office over some issues in our apartment that they didn’t want to deal with. So continuing with all this I receive another complaint about my dog that he was barking all weekend, funny thing about that was me, my boyfriend, and the dog were a state away for the entire week before and threw the weekend. Told them about this, and their response, ‘oh, we will put it into your file”. The next issue then was receiving a letter that we were using our patio as a storage area, which according to the lease is not permitted, that particular day that they must have done an «inspection» I was shampooing my carpets that they refused to clean or replace, and had my vacuum and dog crate outside while I was cleaning(no more than 1 hour), called to inform them again and they wouldn’t listen and«added it to my file». However, my best story of this place had to be when I had a gas leak in my apartment due to the 1970’s stove that had defective pilot lights that had apparently blown out while I was gone, and I came home to an apartment filled with gas and 2 animals that were sitting in there all day. I called to inform the office of the leak which I am responsible to do, and they came with the most dinky gas detector and said it was fine and they couldn’t find the issue. MYAPARTMENTSMELLEDENTIRELYLIKEGAS, THATIS A SAFETYISSUEPEOPLE! So being unsatisfied with the outcome, I called the fire department because I no longer felt safe, what if I went to bed and the pilot went out and due to consume too much breathing of gas in, me and my boyfriend didn’t wake up, it could have been fatal, anyway, the fire department care, tested the air and informed me that it was could I called because it was almost toxic, and it needed to be aired out. An employee of the company(I will not mention his name or position) came up to me and said, hand to god«if there was anything wrong, your dog would be dead», he also proceeded to tell me I have no right to call the fire department, to be annoyed with the office and insist they take care of the problem, and below his breath he called me a b***h to another employee. Cant beat that, so sorry for the long ramble I just want people to understand how bad this place is and how much they do not care about their residents. Also end note, the woman who also wrote a review on this site, MRS K, I believe was one of my neighbors and everything she stated is exactly correct and they pulled crappy things on her family too.

As an update to my experience here… the neighbor who was informed to remove her daughters toys, has not. Her daughter is riding her power wheels in the«common area» as I type. How cruel could these people in the office be? They bully us into removing our son’s favorite toy and yet they allow the neighbor to keep the same toy. How do they think my child feels knowing he can’t enjoy his toy, while the neighbor can parade hers right in front of my windows? That’s right, they don’t care. We’re just a number to these people. The repairs I emailed Trisha rotelli have not been fixed and its been almost a month. Both Maintence men came to my house that day late, fixed 1 thing and said they’d be back. Never returned. Not to mention mark the maintenance supervisor keeps his children’s bicycles in the locked utility closet where the hot water heaters are located. I guess if I worked here I could have special privileges. Must be nice considering I pay more than they do to live here. Oh also as the icing on the cake, the attorney sent me a cease and desist letter saying my neighbors are«complaining I’m harassing them». Funny considering I haven’t spoken with ANYOFTHEM. So now I am a prisoner in my own home.
