I’ll stick to phở Saigon dude didn’t even asked if I wanted to eat here or to go. Waited longer than usual and Jay was grouchy. They gave it to me in a to go box… Wtf? this place sucks, I was the only one in the end and all the workers hid behind in the back doing whatever. Good thing I already paid. Shit. Only tip I would give them is have better service!

Prices are decent but the shrimp and chicken spring rolls have no taste. And the peanut dipping sauce was chalky not smooth. Also had the strawberry smoothie, it’s wasn’t very sweet like I’m used to.

The rare beef phở is great, but the special phở has lots of fat in it. The egg rolls are the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. I will go back for the thai tea and rare beef phở, but nothing else.

This place is fantastic and a very cute atmosphere. The phở soup was amazing, the smoothies with boba are delicious and just what I expected. Definitely will be returning again.

Got in that mood for phở again so we decided to try out this place. We were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant looked new and clean. The menu had a nice variety of food reasonably priced. We received our beverages and food promptly which was a plus. We weren’t too impressed with the eggrolls. They had a type of sloppy consistency being just plain mush inside and bland so dipping sauce was mandatory. The phở, however was absolutely delicious. The broth and ingredients were 100% spot on for a mouthwatering result. The toppings provided were fresh as well. For some reason, our waitress completely disappeared after dropping off the food… never to be seen or heard from again. This was a problem because there was no one to refill drinks and my mouth was on fire with jalapeño. We were the only ones in the restaurant with no staff to be seen. Staying strong, I continued slurping fire until I was full and pleasantly satisfied. Walked up to the register which was abandoned and waited uncomfortably for a whole minute. Since I didn’t feel like yelling because my mouth was still on fire, I had to rattle the door chimes to get someone to come out. It was awkward as hell and slightly embarrassing, lol. Although I must mention that the staff was friendly, they were just uninvolved that day I guess. But at least the phở was delicious…

I have been in this restaurant multiple times and the Phở soup is good. But I wish the soup temperature would be hotter. because once you start pouring the liquid on the noodles and incorporate the rest of the ingredients, the soup is not as hot anymore The service is good, but now that I have seen the other review and a picture of a roach in her soup(Oh my gosh!!!), I don’t think I will be going back there anymore

Yesterday I took my boys here for dinner. It was the second time we’ve been. We all liked the Phở there until I was halfway done with my bowl and found a roach in it. I posted a picture. I told the server about it and he didn’t seem to take it very seriously. He asked if I wanted another bowl. Are you kidding me!!! He said I didn’t have to pay for that one bowl and I told him I wasn’t paying for any of it. I asked who else was at the restaurant managing him and he said it was just the owner/cook in the back. I told him to take it back to him/her and see what they had to say about it. He came back and said I didn’t have to pay for any of it. The owner/cook couldn’t even come out and apologize. This place is seriously disgusting. I am reporting them to the health dept. in the area.

So let’s start off with customer service. It was fantastic. Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty. My table ordered a banh mi special, banh mi cha lua, spring rolls, pork rolls, rare beef phở & special phở. The spring rolls are second to the worst spring rolls I’ve had. The noodles were dry & one spring roll looked like someone was rushing to wrap it & it failed miserably. Second, it would have been nice to see more meat in my rolls. The banh mi… Hell. I added sour cream just to try & balance out the sodium & sugar. Yes sugar. I felt like I ate a sandwich with brown sugar paste. I’ve had a very many great deals with banh mi & spring rolls. I just did not enjoy it one bit. Now to the phở. The soup was pretty tastey & the portions were ok. I’m from California so this was a slight bit of a disappointment. The greatest part was the thai tea. Very well balanced. I wish I could have said I had a better experience but one day I’ll come back & give this place another shot.

Sweet and knowledgeable employees walked us through our first unfamiliar order all while being kind and patient. We had phở, shrimp wraps, and fried rice… the entire meal tasted fresh and delicious. Perfectly seasoned and huge portions. We will definitely be back and have told our friends!

I had the traditional Phở Tai soup. Unexpectedly, the beef was already cooked when the bowl was brought to me. Not Tai(which means rare) at all ! On top of that, I could barely see any beef in my soup, to say they are not generous(not to say cheap) on meat. I was glad they brought a whole lot of bean sprouts, coriander and mint leaves to add a bit more density to the soup, which otherwise would look quite like just broth. At the end of the meal, I ordered a Ca Phe Sua Da(filtered coffee served on ice with sweet condensed milk… a real treat). It took about 20 minutes to be served, while it usually take 2 minutes at restaurants where service is at a bare minimum decent. Just to say that the employee(that was not even Vietnamese) dared to pretend that this was just how Vietnamese coffee is served and how authentic it was, and that the others places are just mere imitators. Obviously she did not realized that she was talking to a Vietnamese guy. How arrogant(and ignorant) she is. You can’t blame the owner for that though. First, the ice must be served in cubes, not crushed, and in a separate glass. Second, you don’t pre-filter the coffee and mix it with the condensed milk: you let the customer do the filtering himself, and let him mix the two as he likes it. This is how it’s done in Vietnam and authentic Vietnamese restaurants. To sum up, I am disappointed with my experience at this address. I was expecting a lot more from a Vietnamese restaurant operated by Vietnamese people. My review may seem a little harsh, but it is honest; I must admit my standards are quite high when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. I would rate the service as underperform, food as average.

Been to Phở Saigon, Chau’s and Phở 9 and Phở 4 U is by far the best phở in the Killeen/Harker Heights area. Reasonable priced and good service.
